2019 Project Life - Week Three

Here we are... at week three! Which honestly feels weird, how can we be three weeks into 2019 already??!
So, as I'm looking forward towards printing, I'm curious how everyone approaches this? I've only ever had one photo book printed and I was so disappointed with the overall quality of the photos. My pages and photos looked nice and clear/bright on my monitor, but were often too dark in the prints. After that I've always just printed single sheets and put them into albums. But I'd really like to print this years PL as a book and am wondering if anyone has ideas on how to ensure a good result.

How are your efforts proceeding??

It's been hard to find printers that will print lay-flat binding 12x12 in 105 pages. I've had great luck and great customer service from Paper Kiwi/Scrapping Simply. They have been fabulous to work with! Their website says their max pages is less than that but they've always made it work for me. And I've been pleased with the quality. I know a few of the employees by name from emailing back and forth over the years.

Once I talked to somebody on the phone there and they were like "you're kids have gotten so big. I feel like I know them from printing your books for so many years".

It is really important to me to print the whole year in one big book and not break it up into 2.

Your pages look so good!!
When I get a full PL year complete, I plan to print via Shutterfly.

I just ordered my first PL book from Blurb. I'll let you know in a couple weeks how it turns out! (Blurb printed & shipped within a week of ordering, and it's been delivered as far as I can track it...we're at a US embassyoverseas, so once our stuff gets to VA, it's another 2-3 untrackable weeks til it gets here. A normal wait would not be this long!!)

I've got journaling in my email (a la Krista!!) and need to gather up photos from last week. Going to spend next week doing the pages from the first 4 weeks.

I also print with Blurb and upgrade the paper. They turn out awesome!!

I plan on sending to shutterfly - but I think in the end my album will be too big for them... I'll just be happy if I finish this project and have it printed!

I'm behind already... *sigh*
