Deleting Off Page
 

Is there a way to delete whatever is off the page in an action or something? I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I always have some sort of piece of paper off the actual page so when I try to resize it doesn't do it right because of whatever is off the page and I can't see it. It drives me crazy and I am now under the Shutterfly deadline :D By the way I am using PSE 2019.

I don't know about an action, but there is a way to do it in PS.

If you make a background layer that is filled with any color
Then use the Ctrl + Click on that layer icon to select the full 12x12 page
Once you see the dancing ants around the whole page
Then Click 'C' for the crop tool you'll see large bounding box, just hit ENTER 2 times
Then anything that was outside of your layout size should be cut off.

I used to have an action for that, but it must have been super old & I deleted it. I'm glad Kiana had an easy solution!!

Oh my gosh if there were an action that would be fabulous:) I always end up with scraps off the page and it drives me bonkers. I got the book done and I can breathe easy for a bit. Thank you both so much for answering my cry for help!

I decided to create an action for this :) I tested it on several of my layouts and I am pretty sure it works. If you do decide to use it...try it on a copy of your layout first, please. Just to be sure :) Oh, I created this for the layered layout. You can download it here.
