1 second everyday
 

I've been using this app for over 3 years now and I love this way of documenting! I did however get a new phone recently and had to get the newest update for the app. You now have to pay $50/year for the 1.5 second feature (that was previously free) and that seems a bit much to me..
So I was wondering if any of you know of similar apps that let you record a daily 1.5 second for free or a small fee?
Would love to hear your suggestions! Thanks in advance <3

I'm also a 1SE user and thought about it for a couple of weeks before deciding to pay the money this year and then see if the features are worth it (so far, so good though).

I use it off and on and have not paid for the upgrade. Doesn't iPhone photos have a slideshow feature?

I didn't even know this was a thing!!!! Too bad it's not free any more for me to check it out!! I wish I could help you, but I'm totally clueless :unsure:

I don't know about this app, or the premise in how it works. Does it give you an alarm of some sort to remind you to take the 1 second vid/pic of your life?

I'm doing it too but without the extra features.

Thanks everyone! I think you can set it to give you a daily reminder but I just make a little video (almost) everyday and then just go back into the app every few days to add in the snippets. When I started you could only do 1 second but they later added the 1.5 second option which I really liked because it just gives you that tiny bit more to see.
I don't think I want to go back to 1 second so I might just have to pay for it.. :/

No advice but just wanted to say it sucks to have to pay for what was free before. That is so cool that you did a short vid every day. Love that idea!

I meant to do this when we got our puppy 4 years ago and then it never happened. Maybe I should give this a try.

Can you link us up to your final product?

Yeah I don't think it's very fair to have an update and suddenly have to pay a lot for something that you've been using for free for so long..

It's really fun and they are great memories to look back on! I've got three years of videos now from just before my little boy was born!

This will be the 3rd year my youngest son is doing the 1 second a day video. He doesn't use the app, he just edits it on his own (he enjoys video editing).

I'm with you Tammy, my son started this at the beginning of last year in his final year of school. He took his own photo/video and then put it together. he loves showing it to us and we love seeing it ;)
