I know how to make them, but not sure if I am the best at explaining the process. Kris (uptowngirl) and I are getting ready to set up shop for blinkie making.

If you are interest in the "fan of" blinkies for the designers here, you can grab them on the blog (Left hand side) :)

Great question Holly! I've got the traditional blinkies down, and some basic tweening ones, but I love all of the different ones here. LOL Must learn how!

Becca Bonneville 06-07-2008 11:15 AM

They are basically a lot of animation, and A LOT of frames! lol

**Holly** 06-07-2008 11:45 AM

lol ok thanks for the tips!

lizzyfizzy 06-07-2008 02:06 PM

cindyg 06-07-2008 03:52 PM

Let us know when you do this! I've been wanting some personal blinkines for my blog and signature on MB's. I'd love to see what you've got and get more info when you guys get going with this.

I have animation shop from Jasc. But what program do you ladies use to animate your blinkies?

kscwgirl 06-07-2008 06:05 PM

I use Adobe Image Ready. :)

Most definitely will let you know!

To give you an idea of blinkies we have made I made this one for ScrapKitchen:

And Kris made this one for a personal blog:

Here are a couple I have made for friends. They are bigger than usual:

We both enjoy doing it and though why not make it a biz. So we are working on that as we speak. lol

Also, we have made more than that, but to give you an idea.

Your pretty good becca....i can do the really simple ones...but i would love to learn how to make them move side to side like that...hehe

ok i don't think that made any sense!

Becca Bonneville 06-07-2008 07:20 PM

Thanks Holly! Like I said, it really is a lot of working with the animation and going frame by frame to get the movement that you want.

**Holly** 06-07-2008 07:24 PM

yeah haha i will just have to practice...i made a one for me...
eta: removed blinkie!
this was a month or so ago...that's my extent so far! haha

Becca Bonneville 06-07-2008 07:33 PM

That is a good start! You really do just have to play around with it.

**Holly** 06-07-2008 07:35 PM

yeah just another thing for me to fiddle with!!! hehe

nov05mama 06-08-2008 03:01 PM

I just did mine for my blog...I am pretty proud...need to work out some kinks with the animation and the darn drop shadow on one of the layers...but I am excited! I usually do the traditional blinkies, so this was a step up! :D

mommy2aria06 06-08-2008 03:17 PM

Love that Gabby! Now I may have to go make one...

**Holly** 06-08-2008 03:55 PM

Haha yeah Gabby you need to tell me what you did!

Brooke W 06-08-2008 05:18 PM

I'm just gonna have to stick with what I've got, cause I can't afford anything else, lol. For a while at least :p

Becca Bonneville 06-09-2008 09:51 AM
