If I'm not mistaken, they do a 25% off sale, twice a year on iNSD and DSD and that's the best sale of the year. I always stock up on print credits then! :)

That's how I remember it, too, with 25% off for DSD and iNSD. I haven't seen them do anything lower priced than those 2 sales.

Unfortunatelly the international shipping is way too expensive for me

Thanks!

What size do you guys print? I'm really surprised by just how much cheaper it is to print 8 x 8, so I'm considering going that route. I'm so torn!

Kendall, I print 8x8. I debated long and hard about it--like years! LOL - but ultimately the price won out. Plus I read somewhere that the 8x8's were so much easier for little kid hands to hold. I know you don't have little little hands in your household but I've found even I prefer the less bulky albums too! I have to say that I am very happy with my decision and I don't feel I've lost any detail in smaller pages. Plus the albums and refill pages are cheaper too! :w00t:

I print 8x8, too... I like that they fit on the bookshelf easier. :)

I also do 8x8. I feel like it's a good size and don't feel that I lose anything with that size either.

I also print my books in 8x8

when you print 8x8 is it harder to see the journaling? Do you need to make the font larger?

I do a lot of Project Life layouts that are text and photo heavy, and I strongly prefer them in 12x12 so that's what I print everything in. This isn't going to help you decide what to do in today's sale, but when I first started printing I chose a 1-photo layout and a text/photo dense layout and had both printed as 8x8s and 12x12s. Seeing them side by side is what convinced me that I needed my PL LOs to be 12x12s even though the 1-photo looked fine at either size.

I really wish that 10x10's were more common. That's my favorite size for printing photobooks, but there aren't albums available for printing single 10x10's.

Depends on the size you originally journaled. I tend to use small fonts, so if I'm printing 8x8 I have to be conscious of that and use a larger than normal font.

I print 12x12. I typically use lots of photos and journaling on every spread, so I prefer the larger size. I bought print credits during their last sale and just got 80 printed layouts this week. Now I need to get them all in my albums. I love getting my layouts back and being able to see them in person.

Okay, one last question for those of you who print 8 x 8. Do you have to crop your pages, or does Persnickety automatically resize them for you?

KingsQueen82 05-13-2016 11:55 AM

I've printed hundreds of pages at PP and never cropped them myself. I wouldn't know where to start! Lol... Every last page has been perfect. No cut off edges, all readable fonts etc. They make it so easy!
