FREE GIFT from Clever Monkey Graphics

We are going into a tough holiday season so I made a little freebie for you to use on your pages if you desire. The papers used to create these masks come from several of my newer holiday releases at Sweet Shoppe Designs.
America has two vaccines about to be started and likely this will be the only holiday season so affected by Covid19. Few of us PLAN to spread the virus but we can't know if we have it since some show zero symptoms. Due to the erratic nature of the virus, there are no absolute guarantees as to who might get horribly sick. I hope you will respect the rules where you live and plan around large family visits. We are all as sad as eachother about this. Make your laptop or phone a part of your celebrations on the dinner table, while prepping pies in the kitchen, etc, and connect via Facebook video or Zoom on the holidays. Have kids draw pictures of turkeys or in another months, Santa, on post it notes and place them around the screen just for fun. Sadly, this year showing love is NOT going to eachothers homes. The hugs won't be in person but the love is as strong as ever. Here in America we have another week or so before Thanksgiving - train the grandparents NOW on how to use or video system of choice - get whatever they need downloaded to their phones or computers. If someone is coming to your home, they should already be in your bubble or quarantining. Masks are great until you have to take them off to eat your food.

Note. This is not a political post looking for hotbed answers and responses. It is a freebie and my personal thoughts on where we are at right now with the virus. But if you have a creative idea that you think will help others, I'm sure we would all love hearing that!!!

Cute!

Thank you for your advice. I hope people will consider staying home for all upcoming holidays. I'm glad my husband respected my choice of not having his dad and step mom over for Thanksgiving. It's better that way.

I'm going to look at it this way - I won't have to worry about my SIL's cooking. LOL. We'd have had an impossible time this year anyway as our daughter wants to be picked up from college ON thanksgiving - the runt!

Thank you for the cute freebie! I'm looking forward to the challenge of cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Since it's only my immediate family, I won't stress if it's not perfect (or even edible lol).

these are fabulous Tracey.

As someone who is still living with mandated masks for the whole state... we brought our second wave to ZERO through hard work, social distancing, harsh harsh harsh lockdown and wearing masks... we are now enjoying more of our freedoms, with hopefully more to come on Sunday. Yes, wearing a mask is a pain the patootie, social distancing is a horrible set of words and an even worse concept BUT... it does work, we have proved it.

Stay safe, sane and kind everyone.
Happy holidays ahead, no matter how you celebrate them.

Thanks for the fun masks. Masks aren't fun to wear, but it's better than the alternative. This will be the first year we're not spending it with my Mom and I'm feeling terribly guilty. What a tough year we've all been through. I pray you enjoy your holidays and are safe and happy in the new year.

These are great--thanks, Tracey! We'll be home this year, celebrating with just our household and planning a Zoom call with everyone we usually see. Not fun, but worth it to make sure that our higher risk family members are here for next year's celebration, hospitals and health care providers aren't overwhelmed, and (fingers crossed!) our schools will be able to re-open sooner.
