let's talk about my crazy for a second...NSBR

once again, lets reiterate what a psycho I am....
I'm very blessed to have an amazing MIL, I seriously couldn't ask for someone better.
we're having Easter (since they were still in FL)/Darik's grandmas 92nd birthday on Sunday. My MIL had asked me for a recipe yesterday and of course I had gotten sidetracked and forgot to send it to her. I sent it to her tonight and asked what she wanted me to bring. she said, "your day off."

of course, I'm going to listen but damned if I don't feel guilty because I'll be coming empty handed!!! [emoji23][emoji23]

LOL, Kristin!!
With MIL, if she says something like that, I'd go along, because, while she's an amazing MIL, she has this OCD about almost everything... I may have a faint heart raising my boy, but, she's way beyond that. Can't do this can't do that...

In the care of family, I would be ok with going with nothing if I was told to. Enjoy your late Easter celebration.

When I'm hosting and people ask what they can bring, I always say, "just yourself!" I hate when people bring food to my dinners... :)

Seriously though! I thought my standard of hygiene is high, hers is beyond! My son can't touch her stuffs because she says they are dusty, she won't kiss or let my son kiss her on the lips because she might have germs. She'd make some cheesy sound whenever she sees me kiss him on the lips.
Man... I'll go mental. She won't even let me do dishes at her home, because she has her own system and I might not wash clean enough... [emoji849]

Enjoy not having to bring anything. Are there times that she comes to your place and she doesn't have to bring anything? if so, then for sure don't worry about it.
