What to watch now?

This is a favor asked by my hubby...

He is looking for new TV series to watch. So, what are you girls watching? Anything new? Anything worth watching?

Thanks in advance! :o

ETA: He used to watch 24, Dr House, Fringe, Bones, Castle...

jak 02-03-2016 12:00 AM

The new X-Files!! But if you didn't see the original series (1990s/early 2000s) you might not get the hype!

navaja77 02-03-2016 12:07 AM

If he likes Marvel, I totally recommend Jessica Jones on Netflix.

If you have Amazon Prime and like action/suspense, he might like Orphan Black. We just started that series (2 episodes so far) and love it!

bcgal00 02-03-2016 03:08 AM

What does he like? Have you guys watched black list, Quantico, the Americans, homeland or elementary! My hubs loves all of these.

How about NCIS, NCIS New Orleans, Arrow and The Flash since sometimes they collaborate. I'm still waiting for GoT coming this April. You can also surf imdb.com for more tv series to choose from.

Valgal 02-03-2016 09:14 AM

He might like The Blacklist. My dh doesn't watch a lot of shows but he looks forward to that one every week.

jumbbumble 02-03-2016 09:47 AM

I love heroes and heroes reborn , also terra nova and the blacklist and furder i only am watching girlie things or old stuff like prison break etc

nietis 02-03-2016 10:21 AM

Oh yes, he used to love prison break!

annet83 02-03-2016 11:07 AM

He might like Agents of SHIELD as well. I also watch a lot of DC shows like The Flash, Arrow, Izombie.

Libby Pritchett 02-03-2016 11:12 AM

Definitely Chuck & Burn Notice in addition to several of the others that have been mentioned here!

Oh yes!

Thank you, ladies, for the suggestions! Will let hubby know so he can check them out by himself.

glumirk 02-04-2016 11:16 AM

Doctor Who
Psych

DawnMarch 02-04-2016 06:38 PM

I've been watching the brand new show, Colony, and so far I really like it.

breakingbrie 03-08-2016 09:08 PM

Vikings on History channel is really good! I second Chuck

Definitely this ^. It is my new favourite show this year!

Julie Billingsley 03-08-2016 10:24 PM

This is not a new series, but my husband loved Flashpoint. It was a Canadian crime show so I don't think it got a lot of hype, but it's one of my husband's favorites. He also loves Blue Bloods.

mariewilcox 03-08-2016 10:41 PM

Burn Notice and Leverage! Loved them both :)

bcgal00 03-08-2016 11:00 PM

I've pretty much watched all of the above mentioned. Yes...I love Colony too! Also, others I like are Blindspot, The Americans, Magicians, Second Chance and Chicago Fire.

nietis 03-08-2016 11:11 PM

Gonna have to check those out! I have only watched of leverage, not the others!

Tronesia 03-09-2016 12:12 AM

Ohh.. I have watched all those.

I second those on The Blacklist, NCIS and The Americans. Those shows are in my top faves after watching 24...needed something to fill that void. Criminal Minds is good too.

icindi 03-09-2016 12:14 AM

I love some similar shows. Criminal Minds, Lie to Me, Leverage. I was wondering what to watch next, glad you posted this!!

craftytam 03-09-2016 02:32 AM

We love Blacklist. We binge watched Person of Interest, Chuck and Lie to Me.

kristalund 03-09-2016 09:59 AM

my hubby is stuck on Breaking Bad.
We heard the Blacklist was good.

kendallt 03-09-2016 10:49 AM

Two shows I've started watching recently have really intrigued me. The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story on FX and 11.22.63 on Hulu.

My bf and I also have our "go-to" shows like The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul.

bexy 03-09-2016 12:49 PM

Based on what he likes to watch I'd also say Blacklist, Blindspot, Criminal Minds, and if he's never watched Alias then I'd look for that on Netflix too.

profiler_mar 03-09-2016 04:37 PM

I say NCIS, Criminal Minds, or Scandal.

DawnMarch 03-09-2016 05:06 PM

Am I the only one who doesn't like Criminal Minds? I really find the graphic woman's-slaughter-of-the-week to be very disturbing.

I can totally understand you feeling that way. I LOVE Shemar Moore so that keeps me interested, but I really do get not liking how graphic it can be.

NellahBean 03-09-2016 06:52 PM

Lie to Me, Blacklist, Bones, Elementary, Person of Interest...
Chuck and Psych are lighter and more comedic, but I still loved those as well!

I had to stop watching it for this reason. After a couple seasons, I just couldn't take it anymore.

My husband can't watch anything with blood - even fake medical anything. So he has trouble with it. I don't like that part of it by the whodunnit part of the show I love!

aurian 03-09-2016 11:19 PM

If you like Fringe, try Continuum! :)
