2019 Project Life - Week 12

Another crazy week down!! Holy smokes!
I think one of the most difficult things I'm currently struggling with is trying to keep all of my photographs cohesive. With some taken outside, inside our house [which is heavily shaded], indoors, early mornings, late evenings... I fear it'll all look like a hot mess once my pages are printed and the brightness/clarity of all my photos are sure to vary greatly. How do all of you handle/deal with this dilemma?

Lawd, I haven't even thought about photo cohesiveness! In this season I'm glad I have any photos at all, let alone that they get scrapped or printed. And anyway, for a project like this I think that a bad photo is better than no photo at all!!

Maybe someday I can aspire to that level of togetherness #mommmyscrapgoals

iknowiknow!!! THIS is the perfect example of the conversation we had just a few weeks back  :D I read and re-read my journaling 3+ times... and then once I upload to the gallery, only THEN do I discover a type-o. :cursing: I've already fixed my original, but haven't re-uploaded the corrected version.

i swear. i'm tellin' ya.
every. single. time.

I can't even think about how my photos will look together because I'm just happy I take them at all 😂 But, it's my first year doing PL, so I guess it all feels like one giant experiment! Do you use a real camera for your photos? Or do you use your phone? I have a nice camera, and I know how to use it in manual, but it's too heavy to take anywhere really. I hardly shoot with it except for special occasions. I just use my phone now for everything, so I'm kind of dreading when my book is printed. I'm hoping my photos don't look like a hot mess!

Also, read in your journaling about your son's asthma diagnosis. We've been on that train for a few years now with my little guy, and there's so many great options for kids these days. It helped us a TON to see a pediatric pulmonologist, who was able to help us understand more of what was going on with him, fine tune his medication, and wean him down to just one med, as maintenance. He doesn't even need to take his rescue inhaler with him to school anymore!

I have a fancy camera too, but I can't be bothered to break it out every day. I also don't have the right lens to take good enough indoor photos in my small apartment. I'm lucky I manage to put pants on most days, let alone take fancy photos :p ... but some day... a girl can dream!!

I have an incredible Nikon DSLR camera, but it’s soooo heavy that I rarely haul it out. 98% of all my photos are taken with my phone camera. I have several photo editing apps, but never feel like I achieve similar results. I’ve never worried about it for printed pages, but it bothers me with so many photos per page. I suppose I’ll live with it, as I’m probably the only one who’d really care :)

I’m so happy to read about your experience. Thank you! We’re currently on an inhaler and his next check up will explore medications.
