I've never done a challenge here before so I am just wanting I have things straight. If I earn a discount - say 20%, is that a stand alone discount that can be used on regularly priced items or can it be combined with other discounts or used on sale priced items?

Hey!

You can use the discount you earn during sweet rewards week in the following month. So for example, if you earn sweet rewards in August, that coupon will be good the second full m-f in September which is 9/11-15 next month. The coupon can't be combined with other offers or sales, but can be used on some bundles which are already discounted.

Hope it helps!

Robin

For the red and yellow color challenge on the 24th, are those the only colors allowed?

roxana 08-03-2017 12:06 PM

I'm not english native so what do you exactly mean with "winding down" I think it is something like relax but just want to be sure :)

Yes, it can mean relaxing or slowing down. It can also mean the end of something. Like the end of the school year, etc.

I would say they'd have to be prominent, noticeable colours on your page, but not the only colours. Sherly or Loni might correct me, but I think you're OK to use other colours too, as long as red and yellow stand out.

roxana 08-03-2017 02:47 PM

Thanks Jacinda!!

Can someone explain 12 to me? Inspired by what? This is probably something silly, but I'm just not getting it. lol.

As it's a journal challenge, journal about something that inspires you. Maybe you took an overseas trip one year because a friend's experience inspired you to try that country. Maybe you are inspired by something to be creative. You could fill a page with inspirational/favourite quotes. Maybe you just have a mood board pinned to your wall that provides inspiration for goals or dreams. It's a pretty wide ranging prompt, so could fit anything really.

I'm stuck on the whimsical alphas. Do they have to have elements on them or can they be themed by color/pattern as well - like stitched, or carnival themed, etc. I understand it shouldn't be your normal alpha set - just don't have any that are really icon heavy.

Are print papers the same as patterned papers? And is it okay to use more than seven of them?
