Silhouette Girls ...
What are you using your Silhouette for most these days?
cutouts for PL, decorations around the house, t-shirts for a race, making posters, labels for jars.
I have used mine 8 out of the last 10 days. I am a bit obsessed. |
I'm dusting mine off to help make shapes and a banner for my daughters party this month. :)
I find that I am using mine mostly for making gift containers... bags, boxes, envelopes. The cameo has been busy the past few weeks.
I just cut out some wood veneer cards using my Birch Cut Cards

Love those cards, Traci!
I've done a few labels and things for gifts, but mostly DD's BF and DH have had me making vinyl decals for truck windows LOL DH designs, I cut :) |
as a paper weight... hahah :D:o
:D I have been guilty of this myself!

it's still in the box and is proving to make a terrific door stop in the dining room :P
I'm addicted to mine for my Planner/smash book.

Pocket scrapping, cards, gift boxes
Umm yeah... I am in the same club as Rebecca and Lynnette...lol! Last thing I made was a shirt for my daughter to wear on Valentine's day.
I JUST BOUGHT A CAMEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It should arrive on the 12th....just in time for me to head out of town. LMAO! |
I use mine to make cards and cut vinyl for crafty things.
I haven't used it for project life yet...hmmm!!! |
I made stickers for my dgd's science project last weekend. So much easier than cutting them all out by hand! Designed and made birthday invitations, Christmas ornamemts, a memory card game, gift boxes, and right now I'm working on a mini album. Mine was in the box in the closet for 3 years but when I finally plugged it in and realized how easy it is to use I was hooked!
Mine is collecting dust along with all my other scrap stuff. Just no time or interest in scrapping lately.
PL, cards, boxes, banners, labels, mixed media art, tags, and probably a bunch of other things that I can't think of right now.
My Portrait is still in the box! lol
I just used mine to cut iron on transfers and rhinestone patterns for shirts for our vacation Sat! Before that I used it for some project life cards. It's my favorite toy by far!
I've just been experimenting with hybrid cards :) I have a couple items in my gallery here.

I use mine to make cards, gift tags, holiday banners, hybrid scrapping, you name it. I am surprised at how often I am actually using it.
Sheri, I just looked at your cards. They are beautiful! |
I have used it for my PL pages, t-shirts for girls, decorating cups with vinyl, nail cutouts for girls, and getting ready to try rhinestones on a shirt.
The way I started digi scrapping was using the Kerri Bradford (hybrid) site... It got me confident is photoshop and I just loved the kits!! I would highly recommed you check out Kerri Bradford which uses cricut and Sil. She offers the most gorgous hybrid decorations that I have enjoyed making and giving as gifts. They are called "this and that" kits and I absolutely love them. I figured it would be ok to post here because they are no competition to this site. It's totlly different. I am not connected or related or employed by an part of her. Just loved it so much and you asked. It's definately worth dusting off your personal cutter for. I have a cricut and it works for both. Check it out. (Kerri Bradford - SHOP-THIS and THAT KITS)

Mine hasn't been used in a while. No time. This working full time thing and being sick for the last 5 months has gotten to be too much.
