It's the rainbow colors... Red orange yellow green blue indigo violet. At least, I think it is.

xo Sherly

Robin Carlton 02-01-2015 02:48 PM

Yep! That's right Sherly!

jessica31876 02-01-2015 08:53 PM

with the rainbow colors if we wanted to do one with a rainbow does it have to be the darker colors? I was hoping to use Over the Rainbow 2.0 from Flergs for that one.

mollyscraps 02-02-2015 10:18 PM

Boy do I feel dumb. I knew it sounded familiar. Thank you both! :o

I should think Flergs' kit would be fine. I would use it.

I scrapped a page of my son emailing with his girl cousin, planning on putting it on the "He said, she said" one since they were emailing back and forth, but I wanted to check and make sure that would be ok? It's a bit of a stretch, haha

breakingbrie 02-06-2015 12:08 AM

SR question- it's been a while since I earned! Lol Is it good for only one use during the designated week? Just wondering how careful I need to be to make sure I get all I want :) Don't want to forget anything if it's only one time!!

Libby Pritchett 02-06-2015 12:29 AM

Adi, I don't think that's a stretch at all! It sounds like it would be just fine. :)

Brie, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost certain that it's just good for 1 use during the week. :)

Really? yay!

Libby Pritchett 02-06-2015 01:24 AM

Yep, I'd probably include a photo of her or at least a little blurb of something she said, just to cover your bases, but I think it's a really cute take on the concept. I think that falls under being "scrapped in the spirit of the challenge," so you should be fine. :)

That makes sense! I was thinking that was it, figured I'd ask to be sure, since it's been so long since I've earned a code :D

JennNtheBoys 02-08-2015 04:08 PM

I used a kit for a LO that I didn't realize until I looked it up to put the credits on my image upload that it was a scoop kit and one of the two designers is now retired. Am I still able to use it for the challenge? (I'm not worried if I can't, I just thought I'd ask to be sure). :)
Thanks

not an admin, but the previous requirement has always been that at least one designer of the scoop is currently selling at SSD.

Thank You. I may not have to use it, but it's good to know just in case.

Libby Pritchett 02-08-2015 05:13 PM

Yep, you should be fine, Jenn!

Valgal 02-11-2015 03:51 PM

I'm not completely positive what 'getting griddy with it' mean. What kind of grid?

Somewhere I saw the suggestion to just arrange the photos on the page in a grid, like pocketing scrapbooking.

Robin Carlton 02-11-2015 04:57 PM

Some awesome griddy layouts from Pinterest for you...

Gotcha. Thanks, Robin :)

olivesparrow 02-14-2015 05:30 AM

Ok potentially silly question - can someone tell me what scraptherapy is? I am trying for a full card but people seem to be sharing extremely personal stuff on these layouts and I'm not really a... personal stuff sharing kind of person! So struggling a lot with what counts for this layout =)

thanks!

NeverendingJen 02-14-2015 10:34 AM

Scrap Therapy would be using the page as therapy- whether it;s something bad or good, just getting your feelings out about it. I've done pages before on this topic where I just used a quote and a kit that fit my emotions, etc. to leave personal stuff off it.

adi&co. 02-25-2015 03:13 PM

Does "A Day in the Life" count if the pics are from more than one day? I can never remember to take all the pics in one day...

Robin Carlton 02-25-2015 03:27 PM

Honestly Adi... thats one of those things that we would never know one way or the other. As long as you're scrapping in the spirit of the challenge, you'll be just fine!

haha, their clothes are different! But if you're ok with it, then phew! I've got a collection of pics from during the week (our days of the week are pretty similar all week)

littlekiwi 03-01-2015 01:53 AM

Would it be ok if a challenge was used to create a pocket in a pocket page or does it have to be the entire page? I wouldn't use one page for several challenges though

Sherri Tierney 03-01-2015 02:47 AM

Can we get a list of the featured designer kits? I know I have some, I have no idea which ones they are! LOL

^^^This - I know I have most of them but I don't label them as such when I put them in their folders.

fruitysuet 03-01-2015 11:39 AM

in the absence of a list, the blog has a section called featured designer, click on that and you go to the related blog posts (there are other posts in there too but it's a start).

Bump :-)

Think this got lost in the featured designer discussion

Gemma 03-02-2015 07:09 AM

The featured designer kit says past year but I used Shawna's from Jan 14, can I use that page or will I have to do a different one? I didn't realise it said past year until I went to put my page on the square lol.

Hey Jennifer,

I think that'd be just fine. If you want to put the word lucky in one pocket or do a list on a pocket or whichever challenge you like. There's no reason you can't do it pocket style.

Thank you Eve!!!! I was going to make a list and you saved me a bit of work! I appreciate it!
