Confession Time!

It has been awhile since one of these threads.. post here to get something off your chest ;)

KristinCB 04-14-2012 07:16 PM

I now drink entirely way too much coffee.. ever since we got the keurig (and a replacement :O) here.. it is BAD. I have at least two a day now and often 3.. I used to be able to get by without coffee at all and now I get headaches without it..

Libby Pritchett 04-14-2012 07:17 PM

oooooooooooooooooooooh I lust after a keurig. I would be in the same boat as you if I had one though!

hmmmm... I'll have to think about what i want to confess. LOL

LJSDesigns 04-14-2012 07:19 PM

I have been trying for no less than seven years to stop cursing. I can't seem to do it. It should be easy to do, just stop saying the bad words, but when I get mad, they come shooting out of my mouth at rapid speed. It's ridiculous and frustrating that I can't control my potty mouth. :(

MamaBee 04-14-2012 07:24 PM

While cleaning in my basement today, I found socks I had from middle school... you know the ones that were "slouchy" so you could wear two pairs at once? Stylin'! ;)

*Celeste* 04-14-2012 07:29 PM

i read the fifty shades of grey trilogy - all three. :o and it is total mommy porn.

rach3975 04-14-2012 07:32 PM

I may be going out by myself tomorrow to return something to a store 30 minutes away. If I do, I am so NOT coming straight home. I've had way too little time out by myself lately...I forsee 30 minutes at Starbucks reading...oh wait, I mean stuck in long lines at the store and then in traffic.

One of my girlfriends just recommended that series to me. She said she wore her hubby out that he TURNED HER DOWN and told her to stop reading those books!!!! LOL I seriously may need to read them.

I guess my confession..........yes, I am addicted to trashy books. What can I say.......good for the ol' marriage. LOL

misfitinmn 04-14-2012 07:56 PM

i am currently reading fifty shades of grey and yes...whoooooo, it's steamy!!

i'll have to think about a confession...i have so many! :D

KristinCB 04-14-2012 07:58 PM

ayaandjudah 04-14-2012 08:08 PM

I found out this weekend that I'm pre-diabetic. I was put on a law carb no sweet diet.

I cheated twice already...since Friday,

krystalhartley 04-14-2012 08:08 PM

My motivation for working out these days is pure vanity rather than health. :o

Me too!!! LOL. Thanks Celeste!!! Now we're all looking at buying trashy books! :p

marlathrall 04-14-2012 08:13 PM

I've been watching Lifetime Movie Network all day. Well, not really watching, but it has been playing dumb movie after dumb movie. lol. Mindless noise to make my empty house seem full. :/

clearskies 04-14-2012 08:21 PM

I drank six (six!) diet cokes today...

(and then peed off the back of a boat...)

mrshobbes 04-14-2012 08:21 PM

Well, the last few days I've been in my pj's the WHOLE day. Then showering at night to put on a new set of PJ's LOL.

K, I'm the opposite--because of my gastritis attack I've given up coffee (arg, what a blasphemous statement). I'm definitely sleeping better though without it :)

(oooh and I have the Fifty Shades series, though haven't started them yet. I know they are written from one of the BEST Twilight AU fanfiction authors out there, I read the first chapters of that original fanfiction. So yes, imagine Edward as the lead guy and Bella as the heroine :P)

SmallMoments 04-14-2012 08:34 PM

I cannot wait to put Luke to bed. I'm playing single mom today b/c Joel has the weekend shift. And he's driving me absolutely INSANE with his incessant talking.

Whew. I feel better. Thanks.

Sherri Tierney 04-14-2012 08:45 PM

I fell way off the wagon with my eating plan. I also started drinking diet pepsi again. I've been tired to the point of exhaustion for a few weeks now and I wonder if it is the crap I'm eating (I was eating clean and felt awesome). I need to get back on plan.

haydensmommy217 04-14-2012 08:56 PM

I watch way to much trashy/reality tv.

maryinaz 04-14-2012 09:20 PM

I eat too much candy.

Sigh, I love candy...

breakingbrie 04-14-2012 09:39 PM

I let my girls stay up later tonight, after I promised myself I wouldn't, because I was almost finished with a lo and wanted to get it done without interrupting it for the whole bedtime ritual :o

nanienamou 04-14-2012 09:49 PM

My 3 ways to cope with anxiety: compulsively shopping, bitting the skin around my nails (and yes it bleeds) and eating glassfuls of crushed ice with diet pepsi. Not necessarily in that order. Surprisingly, on the plus side, my anxiety levels have reduced drastically since returning to work full time. :)

Mye 04-14-2012 09:50 PM

I have acid peptic disease and my doc says no to coffee and other triggers....I cheated (like everyday) I need my coffee and luckily I haven't had any attacks yet. I figured it wasn't my trigger really - but bananas and over eating LOL!

nun69 04-14-2012 09:50 PM

I am totally going ot procrastinate and put off a.ll of my homework that needs to be done until tomorrow { 3 classes } and scrap instead LOL!!! I work better under pressure and at the last minute!

Sharon Kay 04-14-2012 10:01 PM

I'm addicted to 3D printers ... absolutely love the concept ... can't wait to MAKE things that you can't buy ... for example I want to make an android figure that will sit in the cup holder in my van and hold my cell phone (and be a charger) ... so printing something like this but adapt it to fit in my cupholder (plus allow the cord to go through it) ...

http://thingiverse-production.s3.ama...eview_card.jpg

...and I so want to make this to go in my teenager's room as a night light ... turn the head and change the color that lights up inside him ...image is linked so you can get a better idea of what I am talking about ...

http://thingiverse-production.s3.ama...eview_card.jpg

Here is a picture of a 3D printer similar to what I will be building at our local hackerspace ... I am sooooo excited about it! It will take filament and melt it and "print" it to make layers and turn it into shapes ... I have gears I want to make for an Arduino project, new parts for my van's vent (it broke & you can't buy them any more)...

http://reprap.org/mediawiki/images/4...usa-mendel.jpg

Here is my pinterest with 3D projects I find interesting ... some are suggestions for our hackerspace to "print" for kids to use at the Maker Faire ... others are projects I might be interested in making or just find interesting ...

http://pinterest.com/digiscrapgirl/3...-to-try-ccckc/

I have so many ideas of things I want to make with it ... oh and the plastic parts on MY printer will be PINK!!! I want people to know it belongs to a girl!! :p

I think me and you would be a match made in geeky girl heaven.
( please dont take that in a creepy sort of way!! ) LOL!!!

my confession: I eat chips and drink dr.pepper while I watch the Biggest Loser.

Jengerbread88 04-14-2012 10:21 PM

Even though I'm a lit snob and my friends come to me for book recommendations, I use my Kindle more for playing Angry Birds and Words With Friends than I do for reading-- in fact, since Christmas, I've only read 1 book.

Before all the buzz, I saw the first one for Kindle offered free or very cheap and decided the same thing. Now I'm waiting for the price to drop because there's been so much talk that I have to read them.

LeeAndra 04-14-2012 10:40 PM

I finally caved and read The Hunger Games trilogy this past week. I'm creepy-infatuated with Peeta and feel 'hungover' from reading them over and over again like I'm friggin' 12 years old.

A lot of the time when DH is talking to me in his random machine gun ADHD chatter at night after DD has gone to bed, I completely tune him out and mumble 'Mmmhmm' and 'Okay' and 'Yeah' while he blathers and he never knows the difference.

kscwgirl 04-14-2012 10:49 PM

I had to call the dr and get my lexapro upped to 20 mg. :/

kristijoy 04-14-2012 11:05 PM

I don't want to register to vote.

nonnie 04-15-2012 12:28 AM

For the 1st time in over 20 years I don't think I am going to vote in the presidential election - That is so sad....

I desperately want to quit my job - but I so do not want to give up the money

mrshobbes 04-15-2012 01:03 AM

Can I add another one? It's started early this year, but now I'm officially addicted to select Kpop boy bands. I feel like such a cougar because their oldest members are only 21-22. Gah.

LOL. We eat pizza and watch the Biggest Loser every week.

My confession: I cheated on my new "way of life" and had a chocolate milkshake with dinner. It was totally worth it.

sprauncey1 04-15-2012 07:12 AM

I ignored the door when the neighbor boy came over to ask the boys to play. I want to be lazy and stay inside. And I don't want to deal with another boy inside either. So he knocked (for 5 minutes) and then left.

Tracyfish 04-15-2012 10:06 AM

After doing so well for 8 weeks on weight watchers, yesterday I ate like it didn't count and now I feel guilty. Chicken wing festival, Taco Bell for lunch and way too much sushi for dinner.

Had to run this morning out of guilt :(

winipeg1 04-15-2012 10:17 AM

im taking my sister to see STEPS tonight. (if you dont know who steps are -youtube them. they are mega cheesy pop band from the 90's who split 10yrs ago and doing a reunion tour)

the confession..... im really looking forward to it!

tanyiadeskins 04-15-2012 10:23 AM

I have been exercising daily now for three weeks and so ready to start eating better but I can NOT seem to give up diet soda :(

NeverendingJen 04-15-2012 10:25 AM

I haven't vaccuumed my house in an entire week and DH didn't even notice. And its not a disaster, so why was I bothering to do it every other day?

Enlighten me ... I have no idea what a Kpop boy band is ...

Gemma 04-15-2012 10:26 AM

Runs off to check fifty shades of grey LOL.

I've been eating too much chocolate the past 2 weeks, that's my confession. Seeing it in text might get my backside back in gear!

I took it the way it was intended ... I so wish I had another geeky girl to hang out with at the hackerspace and make things together ... what fun that would be ... digi scrapping *AND* 3D printing ... we could combine the two for some awesome projects!!! I am the ony one there that digi scraps ... and only 1 of 3 females that are regulars at the hackerspace (one is one of the owners of the space). I'm the only female that takes the classes they offer in 3D printing, 3D design, Arduinos, etc.

DeepGirl 04-15-2012 10:32 AM

I have bought so many cute British mugs and kitchenalia stuff even though I do not need it, LOL! They are e.g. with birds (robin, blue tit, owl...), animals (mouse, hedgehog, fox...), cats and dogs... including tea bag trays, spoons etc. But they are so lovely and make me happy!

Sharon Kay 04-15-2012 10:32 AM

I haven't ever watched the biggest loser.

I do like to watch Castle, however, my 16 year old tells me when I can open my eyes ... right after they show the close up detailed shot of the murdered person. I like the show, but not the blood and gore. I also do not watch it right before bedtime. ;-)

solagratia 04-15-2012 10:42 AM

I have eaten way too much candy over the past few days.
I have been biking to work for the past couple of years but now bike other places too so that at the very least I am biking for 1/2 hour a day, sometimes a whole hour, but I haven't lost weight because I love sweets (such as the jellybeans I've been eating non-stop over the past few days)
I have a feeling that 30 years from now I will still be a fat lady on a bike, but with more wrinkles. And I'm OK with that...I think. lol

color of my heart 04-15-2012 11:07 AM

I'm going to look at wedding dresses. Today. Without anyone else but my roommate knowing.
