Vegetable Spiralizer

This is sort of a spin-off of Heddy's post about Skinnytaste. I didn't want to bog her post down with outside recipes, so I thought I'd ask here.

Has anyone used a veggie spiralizer? I got one for Christmas (by request), and I LOVE IT! I have found several recipes that I want to try on this site, but I made this one last week:

It was absolutely AMAZING. We devoured it. No leftovers. Even Chloe loved eating the "green noodles."

I can't wait to go through and try some more.

So, if you use a spiralizer, what are your favorite recipes?

I seriously need one of these in my life! Which one did you get Libby?

I have been trying to find one of those but can't seem to get one in Canada. It looks like such a great idea!

Jeff got me this one. It's nice but feels a little cheap. Just not super sturdy. It does the job though.

On that site, the gal recommends this one.

We don't have a spiralizer because it seemed to large to store in the limited space we have right now. But the julienne peeler from this set works great for zoodles too: http://www.oxo.com/p-1142-3-piece-peeler-set.aspx

I've seen a smaller version of the vegetable spiralizer. Is yours easy to clean, Libby?

I have two small spiralizers. I haven't tried either of them yet. They are actually in my gift closet. I paid $1 each for them through special Amazon deals (and with the $1 music credit for choosing no rush shipping they may as well have been free). I keep meaning to pull one out and try them. They've been here since early November.

I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yep, super easy! It comes apart easily and goes in the dishwasher!

I bought a Paderno last Spring. I was nervous about it because I have a tiny kitchen so I hate adding things that don't get used. We love it though and use it regularly.

I really wanted the Paderno, but Jeff thought the one he got was better for some reason. LOL I figure I'll use it til it falls apart then I'll replace it with the Paderno. I can already see that we'll use it lots!

I've seen several people talking about this one on the Weight Watchers forums. I need to buy one.

I got one (Paderno) for my MIL last year. She eats gluten free and I thought this would provide her another alternative to pasta! I want to try one to see if we would like it. Which recipes have you all liked?

I've been seeing lots of posts on Facebook about these, must have been a popular gift this year lol! I looked through her blog & this recipe for Italian Zucchini Pasta Salad sounds REALLY good!!

In our household, Sean does all of the research and purchasing of kitchen items like this. I have horrible luck when buying the brands I pick out. I gave up and just let him pick it. Maybe Jeff should do the same. ;) LOL

I really want to get one but i'm not a big fan of zucchini. I don't like the texture but who knows its much more tastier in the from of noodles.

i have a spiralizer, but haven't used it yet ... this is inspiring me to bust it out this weekend!

I've been looking for a julienne peeler for ever, but can't seem to find one that isn't online with crazy shipping cost. I love zuccini noodles!
