where o' where is my mojo !?!?!

acckkk!! i have not scrapped AT ALL this month!! :(:( i cannot get a page to work to save my life - i have 3 or 4 pages that have been started and i am about ready to trash them all ... ughho! i know i need to just pull up some templates or do some scraplifts to try to get myself moving again - but right now i just feel like watching something on my DVR and folding clothes ! (haha - that's because i have 4 loads upstairs waiting to be folded )

i think i'm going to make a date with myself tonight to scrap a page :) (after i get back from the hunger games - woohoo!)

I've been traveling most of this month and am only now just getting caught up with my pages :) Honestly what helps me is to just keep scrapping, even if I'm thinking it's crappy, lol. Eventually i'll do something that'll make me go, "Huh. well, that works," and then the mojo takes off. Hopefully :p

I always find it hard to get the flow going, especially during the week after work. I have so many pages started that I look at and go "ick" and never go back too. I just keep plugging away at something new until it all clicks. Hope you find your mojo Dana. :)

Good luck finding it! But if you feel like folding laundry, do it. That feeling doesn't happen too often, at least for me, so you might as well tackle it now.

I try to relax when I have no mojo. And slowly, I'll do thing little by little until my mojo kicks in again :D

ebbs and flows, ebbs and flows, I usually either give myself a break or practice some "fake it 'til you make it". Hope you get a jolt soon chickie.

A grid layout always gets my mojo back. I love the simplicity of not having to arrange the papers in a complicated way, and just be able to embellish. In fact I just did a grid layout because I was feeling creatively stumped. :) Also, the portfolio challenge helps a lot. Focusing on a concept (like wants VS. needs) instead of randomly picking pictures to work with can get you out of a funk.

So many times I actually don't like the way my layout is turning out, I actually end up loving it by the time I'm done. In fact, this happens most of the time. Just keep on going. Scrap lifts always help me get back in the groove. Good luck!! :)

My mojo is on a serious roller coaster. I go through a slump EVERY SINGLE WEEK! Wednesdays seem to be the low point no matter what I do, and things seems to kick back into gear by Thursday night. I hate it though.

It'll come around Dana. You rock, so I'm not worried about you, even though I know it stinks to feel so uninspired. Just one more reason that I'll never attempt designing. :)

I hate that when it happens and often have all these ideas in my head and then when I open up CS5 - I just sit there looking at it blankly lol!
