Anyone else ready for Spring???

I am SO excited the time change is this weekend. I'm so sick of being sick and tired. It seems like each year my SAD gets worse and worse. Anyone else ready???

KristinCB 03-07-2017 06:18 PM

Jenn Barrette 03-07-2017 06:46 PM

I am sooooo done with the cold and snow. I need sunshine and green grass asap!!

KingsQueen82 03-07-2017 07:16 PM

Yesterday I noticed the cherry trees on our street are blossoming! My heart pretty much leapt out of my chest. I hate living in the ugly brown desert so anything springy is extra exciting to me! :)

nietis 03-07-2017 08:58 PM

Me!
I noticed the warmer weather, but I am looking forward to see the cherry blossoms, hopefully soon!

LeeAndra 03-07-2017 10:03 PM

I wish the weather would just make up its mind. Make it winter or make it spring. What's with it being in the 50s for three days, then the 30s and snow, then another 2 or 3 days of 50s, then more 20s and 30s?!

britaneejean 03-07-2017 10:50 PM

Giiiiirl you know my thoughts on this. I NEED Spring...desperately. I need open windows, green grass, Vitamin D/SUNSHINE.

marlathrall 03-07-2017 10:59 PM

Nope... but only because my husband's ridiculously long hours at work... I like having him home for dinner!

kristalund 03-07-2017 11:34 PM

I am SO ready for Spring!!

rach3975 03-08-2017 12:17 AM

Usually by this time of year I can't wait for spring, but we hardly had a winter this year. :( We had less than 2 inches of snow, and we hit the 80's in mid-February! That's crazy. Things have been blooming for weeks, which is not at all our usual weather. I teach preschoolers, and we've only had a handful of days all winter that we couldn't play outside because it was snowing, raining, or below freezing. We're in a school district that routinely has 5-10 snow days a year, and we didn't have a single one this year. If this is what winter was like, I'm not so sure I'm ready for spring after all! It's going to feel like summer by the end of March.

Jennifer 03-08-2017 03:51 AM

Soooooooooooooooo ready!!!!

Saar 03-08-2017 05:45 AM

I'm so ready for Spring! But it doesn't seem to be here any time soon... We've had lots of rain the past days/weeks and looks rather like Fall instead of Spring.

Time changes here at the end of the month.

MamaBee 03-08-2017 06:07 AM

YES! I've been ready for spring since November!

however, if there could be a snowstorm a week from this coming Saturday- that would be great... :D My mother-in-law takes it on herself to bring her grandson to my son's birthday party - without asking us. We didn't know that weekend of the party is when her son has custody so that he means the devil child will be coming... I'm so not happy about it. My hubby can't say anything because his dad just wants us all to get along... and then we hear how it's not the kid's fault that he is growing up in an unstable home life... *sigh*

SAME!!! Omg - this winter hasn't been too bad really and living here you have to be okay with winter. However, it's going to be back down into single digits this weekend  So yeah, not happening soon here either.

Keely~B 03-08-2017 10:56 AM

Nope. We we've already been over 90 degrees and we never had a "winter". I am in no way ready for eight months of summer.

I also really hate the spring time change, I wish they'd just leave it alone.

* I'm really not as cranky as I sound :P

This! We haven't hit 90 yet but it's going to be close to it this week. We don't get Spring here...it will go straight to Summer and I'm not ready for all that.

Tronesia 03-09-2017 04:27 AM

I am ready for the sunshine, but not actually ready for Spring. We all have allergies here and that means kids that can barely go outside.

LynnZant 03-09-2017 09:12 AM

I could go for skipping spring and heading right to summer. We haven't had much of a winter, and the deer pretty much decimate anything that blooms in the spring.

bbymks5 03-09-2017 11:02 AM

We had maybe a couple weeks of winter...it's been spring since Dec/Jan...and was 87 at my house yesterday LOL

Ditto this. Although I am as cranky as I sound (I have a cold). :D We don't do daylight savings in AZ and I'm so sick of no one ever knowing what time it is here. "wait -- is it 2 hours different or three hours different from the East Coast?" Just stop with the daylight savings already.

Txcorey 03-09-2017 03:27 PM

I'm ready for Spring and I'm ready for the time change. I hate it in winter when it gets dark so dang early! We haven't had a bad winter at all, but I'm ready for the longer days!

emmasmommy 03-09-2017 03:38 PM

I just want to be able to go outside and play, if I'm being honest. LOL I'm so sick of gray, cold, and just some good ol' crabassery. I hate winter...so much. Granted, we didn't have a lot of snow this year but the gray.... BOOOOOO

oscaralley 03-09-2017 03:39 PM

OMG....I'm so ready!! I want some green grass, pretty flower and sunshine. I'm off next week during spring break and I'm sure the weather will do something crazy!!

lovely1m 03-09-2017 03:48 PM

Our winter has been odd. It's been 60s a few times recently, but today is back to normal winter in negative temps. We haven't had any snow for a month which is super odd for us. So honestly, I don't have the spring fever as bad as normal since we haven't had the usual awful winter.

Kjersti 03-09-2017 03:49 PM

Spring is my favorite season!!!

cherrygutz 03-10-2017 05:55 PM

I am totally ready for spring! This is my first winter and my oh my! We're not bff! I had (and still have) a flu thrice! Not good so let me have spring please!

pewtertm 03-18-2017 10:37 AM

We didn't have much winter in OKC, so I'm not sure if I'm ready for spring. Mainly because the weather teams are now saying that our storm/tornado season looks to be kicking in at the end of the week. If I could skip tornado season, then sure!
(But I'd like to skip the summer heat and go straight into fall...100* weather does NOT appeal to me)
