It was a year ago that I joined the community here. I had been on a 7-ish year break from scrapping. I don’t recall why I popped in, but it was in the middle of the 14th Birthday celebration! What a way to jump back into things! lol My first layout here was posted on Feb 13, 2020. Little did I know what the next 12 months of life would be like. :blink: And, I have NO idea what to expect out of the upcoming 12 months. Just gotta have high hopes, right?

Thanks for the great place to scrap! Such awesome product designers and so much gorgeous inspiration from the Babes and community. :wub: Thanks for the numerous fun events throughout the year and all of the free items along the way.

On a different note, my modem apparently just died. (I’m typing on my cell phone.) They are sending a new one and it will, hopefully, arrive Thursday morning. That’s “forever” away! :crying: Hopefully tomorrow’s challenge can be done through my phone! lol I know, I know. There are bigger things in life to worry about. Maybe. :D

We're so glad your here! Sorry to hear about your modem! Hopefully it comes soon. I know a day without the internet sounds like horror! Especially in today's world where we rely on it to connect us.

Thank you SSD - aversary! Great post - I have been here on and off for a few years now, but almost always partake in the birthday party fun in February! The designers here are top notch, and the gallery provides a ton of inspiration.

When we started working from home last March was when my scrapping really picked up again. I just hadn't felt like I had time or motivation for awhile. I did my first passport challenges in June and haven't looked back! Thank you so much for the great kits and templates the designers bring us each week, all the weekly sales, the freebies, all the extras the designers offer through their blogs and FB pages and all the kind words people have posted in the galleries. And a big thank you to all the sugarbabes and designers for the extra time they're putting into the birthday party this month!

That's terrible about your modem, but am so thankful you have a replacement on the way!! Here's to you getting it quickly, being able to scrap the layouts and being back to normal again!!

Well... I have internet again! Already! My neighbor contacted me last night. Her service was out, as well, and after contacting AT&T, they told her it was out in the area. It's working now. So... the guy on the phone with me yesterday did not seem to know this and decided my modem was bad. :blink: I will have to see what they want me to do since the new one is, I guess, on its way.

Yeah for a quick fix!!! Maybe if your old modem is old enough, they'll have you just do the upgrade.
