I want to go on a quick little road trip..

or maybe not road. i can fly.I'm feeling antsy here. I just want to run away. Where would you go? if you had like 2-3 days and the travel time wasn't an issue?

run awayyyyy run away.

I'm hopefully going to Colorado in july. Not for super long. 4-5 days, but I want to go somewhere RIGHT.NOW.

stupid work getting in the way of things LOL.

I'm not sure what kind of things you like. But if you were taking CE with you I'd say New Hampshire. We took the girls to Franconia Notch a few summers ago and explored different places to hike and get in the river. It was a lot of fun.

Or what about the beach? A few days with the sound of waves and some wind in your hair does everybody good. (And if you hate sand like me you can just stay some place where you can see the water without having to battle the beach crowd.)

New Hampshire is so pretty. I love that it's still coast-y (coasty? LOL) without all the annoying people. haha

OBX!!! I miss the beach! :)

I'm another vote for the beach! The sound of the waves....

We almost went to Franconia Notch this weekend, but had to fix the dryer instead. If you want a quieter beach than Hampton we like Wallis Sands. I hear Jenness is good for waves, but we've got littles so waves aren't a priority right now.

Last summer we had a little getaway to Camden, ME to see our favorite YouTube musician, Reina del Cid. She'll be there for the Fourth again this year but we're going to miss it. It was a super cute small New England feeling town, and even though it was hurricaning and we had to go to a nearby opera house for the performance, it was a nice little getaway.

We have a lovely island down here that is our safe spot
We rent an little house (no resorts) and enjoy the beach and small boat trips
Whale season starts on July, so the view is amazing

For me just driving out of the place that I live can feel like a 'get-away'. We live in the country, so a weekend get-away to the big city closest to us is always fun. We eat at nice places, take in a show, shop, swim in the hotel pool etc...

We usually do a small road trip every labor day. This year will be a place we have been a billion times before, but never this weekend, Minneapolis. We want to go to the MN State Fair and Ren Festival. We are also hoping for a 4-5 day vacation to San Diego this winter.
