We have a new family member!!! LQQK!
 

Three local animal shelters had a mega adopt a thon ... over 700 pets were adopted between Friday morning and Sunday evening!!! One of the larger locations ran out of cats and only had 5 dogs left!

We adopted from one of the shelters an American Eskimo purebred ... he is 1 year and 4 months old ... thankfully (knock on wood) he is housebroken ... the rest we can train starting with obedience school ...

that is wonderful Sharon!! We are getting an Eskie too! She was just born a couple weeks ago, so we don't have her yet. Congrats on your new baby!

Good for you! Our shelter did the same thing last weekend and they adopted out every single dog/puppy they had! They had some awesome deals and I really wished we were in a position in our live to adopt a dog but it isn't a good time for us.

There was a nationwide push last weekend...quite a few shelters had deals like that going on. So wonderful to see that some shelters actually ran out of animals!
