I just use the font called Tangerine and I wrote my initials eam (to make it a little funkier I made mt a an @) on a transparent document about 4x4 in size and saved it as a png file. Then I just plop it on a photo...resize as necessary and drop the opacity to about 40%...easy peasy!!!

I use a free action from Kathryn Wilson @ WST, it's really easy to use! I also made a watermark brush myself a long time ago but it was on my old desktop that the motherboard died and my BIL hasn't yet transferred my HD so it's easier to just use the free action I found :)

What I do is have your logo, then select it so there's marching ants around it and make a shadow on a new layer. Delete your solid logo so it only has the outlined shadow left. Change the opacity as desired. You can see the small one I made on my name tag here...this was made a few years ago when I went by JLLdesigns. :)

Create your watermark in black (or a shade of gray if you want a reduced opacity), save it as a brush and then stamp it on your images (on a separate layer) in any color. The copyright symbol is alt+0169.

I actually created a brush in PS...it was super easy to do.

1. Open new document and Create logo (I can't remember what size though) My logo has my name and a few dots/lines on it
2. Go up to Edit< Define Brush Preset (if it is gray click on the move tool in the tools palette to unclick from the text layer)
3. Name and save it!
4. It is easy peasy!!!!

You can size it, lower the opacity, etc....
