Are you afraid of creepy crawlies?

My daughter and I discovered a big beetle in our house the other night. Normally, we would scream for DH, but he was not home, so we had to deal with it ourselves. I can easily kill or remove smaller bugs but what is it about big bugs that makes me freak out about squashing them? The idea of squashing all those guts completely makes my skin crawl.

Are you afraid of some or all bugs?

Not so much afraid but they do give me the heebie jeebies! Living in the south with tons of trees behind us we tend to see a lot of creepy crawly things. Yuck!

Not afraid...I just don't like them. With my kid feeding his gecko we've noticed that a cricket will escape here and there. Gah! I hate them. The cat, however, is loving chasing them around the house.

Yup..........not all though but there is this one big spider that we find in our house from time to time (rumor is, they always come in pairs !! LOL) and I remember calling my neighbour one time to kill one because I am just too scared to do it. Oh, not when our vacuum is close. Then I will vacuum the little terror and put the vacuum outside for my husband to empty ! LOL

Yes! And now my daughter is too! lol I guess because I scream and "dance" when I see them esp when they get one me. lol

Bugs really don't bother me but I hate mice, ground squirrels, hamsters - get the drift (those little furry 4 legged things are just AHHHHHH)

Most bugs don't freak me out... I'm fine with spiders but I LOATHE roaches!!! I won't get anywhere near them. The best I can do is spray one from a distance and wait for my husband to come home and pick it up. I've got two boys but neither of them wants to do it either, lol.

Oh, and I agree that bigger bugs are worse. Not sure why!

I don't love bugs in my house, but when they're outside I enjoy watching them... photographing them... etc. Depending on the bug, they can be really interesting and beautiful.

LOL I'm weird.

I kind of like most bugs, except for cockroaches in the house. I won't kill them though - I just scoop them up and put them outside. And I can't stand the ginormous fat slugs that find their way into the cat's water bowl. Again, I won't kill them - they get flicked over the fence.

The only thing that freaks me out (almost to phobia level) is snakes - a bite from the ones around here can kill you!

Not a fan of bugs... no spiders, no crickets and holy mother of goodness no cockroaches. I'll try to relocate if possible... except the roaches.

I.hate.bugs.

Sweeet 06-29-2017 10:02 AM

I loathe all of them, even though I KNOW spiders will eat the bugs, just can't have them in the house, NO NO NO and hubby is afraid of them. I HAVE no choice to deal with those. And YES when killing the bigger bugs, I cannot handle the noise either...it makes me instantly having to spit. BLECH!!!!! Of course all the other critters I deal with too..no choice if hubby isn't around. Terminix was here Friday so as always, I find the ones that WERE hiding all dead, so I dispose of them...ugh!

Not even a little. I took Entomology in college as my science elective, and I was the only female who dissected the bugs sans gloves. *curtsey*
