Good price for the Big Bite?

Joann.com has it for $27.99 (+ tax) and I found a code for free shipping. I looked around online and can't find it for less than that. Is that a good price?

Also, if you have the Big Bite, are you keeping the regular Crop A Dile? Just wondering if the Big Bite will replace my regular one, or if I'll still need the little one.

Hummm...I wish I could help-I'm just getting aquainted with my normal one...hehe.

MikkelPaige 06-06-2008 11:44 PM

It's a great price. Um, want to share the free shipping code?

The $27.99 price is a sale price though. Normally, at ANY store I've seen, it's $39.99. I'm curious if you can get the free shipping on a sale item?

meems 06-06-2008 11:49 PM

the free shipping code is on the site.

I'm pretty sure I've used free shipping codes on sale items. You just can't use a free ship code AND a 40%off code, kwim?

oh yeah, I def did b/c that's how i got my MM paper trimmer!

That is exactly how I got mine :) Mimi is right you just can't combine a free shipping code with another sale code.

And I am keeping both sizes. The big bite really is BIG and sometimes if I need to set something on say just a card or CD album it's easier to just pull out my regular Crop A Dile.

The free shipping code is: FSF8FWALLET

With it being on sale, it's cheaper using the free shipping code than the 40% off.

oh forgot to mention --

when i shop joann.com i do it through ebates.com. you get a percentage back and when your total is high enough they pay out to you. i have the payout go to my paypal acct.

(here's my shameless referral link, if anyone is so inclined)

I can't decide what to do. With the price being $39.99 it'd be $24 with a 40% off coupon IF the store got it in stock. But I did call and ask if they were getting it and they said they don't know if they will b/c they don't always get everything the website has in stock.

Then IF Michael's/Joann's got it in the store and I could find a 50% off coupon I'd really do well on the price.

Should I just quit my yapping and bite the bullet and get it for $28 with free shipping at Joann.com?

Yeah, I'd probably just buy it online. You'll probably save the $4 in gas by not going to the store! I saw it at our LSS just yesterday for $39.99.

MikkelPaige 06-07-2008 11:48 PM

LOL - okay.

I've seen it at a few LSSs for the full price, which I refuse to pay.

Mimi - I used ebates! Thanks for the advice!

You can get the coupon at there site.

ACOT has the Big Bite in stock right now at the regular $39.99 price and offers promo codes for either free shipping or 40% off. Those promo codes are regularly available so you don't have to worry about missing out on the deal before you get a chance to do some shopping. Depending on what is available in your area and shipping costs, this info may be useful for you. :)
