Indoor plant help!!!

So I enjoy gardening...but outside. I know what to do with those plants. But after my brother's death I brought home some of the planters given to us and replanted a bunch of the plants....the problem is they are all INDOOR plants and I tend to kill those kinds. Well of course I want to keep these plants all alive and thriving for obvious reason, but the thing is they have bugs on them

Not bugs that are eating the plants but just these little (like tiny tiny) annoying bugs that fly around and land on the leaves and the dirt. Does anyone with a green thumb know if they make a spray (or something) for indoor plants that would be safe for the plants AND my kids (guess I wanna keep then alive and thriving too :D :D)

Thanks in advance!!!

Sorry I can't help you... I kill everything. I've even killed an air plant... the kind that live on air.. that you don't have to water... yep.. killed it. LOL

Go to the nursery and ask. I want to say that years ago I had those nasty little bugs. I remember putting some kind of spray on them and then all was fine. :)

Hi there!
When I saw your post, I went and asked my DH who is such a guru when it comes to plants... This was his answer in an email:

don’t like indoor gardening either... ew.

Sounds like fungus gnats. There’s a Ortho brand spray I like to use, I can’t remember what kind though. Its an aerosol can, so if she uses it to spray, she’ll have to spray outdoors – its not very kid friendly when its sprayed, but will kill the bugs, and then they can be brought indoors as long as they plants are away from the kids.

Are there photos of the plant?
Hope that helps! :)

Yeah know they do look like little gnats. Here are the bulk of the plants (I have one or two in other places) and I tried to get a picture of the little buggers but I can't get my 50mm lens to focus on it (and I'm to lazy to put another one one :D)

Thank so much to your DH Dahlia I think I'll check out Wal Mart for that spray and if worse comes to worse I'll phone a florist here in my own town!!!
