Love those pictures! I wish I could see this in person...nothing like that in Nebraska. :(

Oh....those pictures make me miss home. I grew up and lived most of my adult life in the Baltimore/Washington area. Moved to Boston 8 years ago when I got married. We always come home for the holidays....but I miss gorgeous days like that on the Mall and in the city. Thanks for the eye candy.

Susan

Thanks Heather!

Susan, I actually live in northern Virginia and always took the City for granted but this year I have gained a renewed interest in all the beautiful sites! I'm so glad you like them!! Thanks for looking!! :)

LOL--I'm the opposite. I was born and raised in New England, lived near Boston my first few years and then again during college. DH and I always thought we'd end up there, but we're in Northern VA because his job keeps us here (and probably always will). There are a lot of great things about the DC area (and those pictures point out some of them!), but I'll always miss Boston and wish we could go back up north.

Oh I wanna see that so bad. We were going to go on vacation last year and hit some sites in WEst Virginia, Virginia and Maryland. My husband is from Baltimore so he still has family up there. Might still do it this year though.

Awesome pics!!! I was just there a few weeks ago and love going in to see the sights!! DC is amazing place and I am so glad I live so close now. There is just so much to see and do in this area and I never realized it until we moved here 2 1/2 years ago from the west coast. I don't think I ever wanna go back west. LOL!!

I love how you can just see Jefferson. I miss DC too! I worked 3 blocks from the Washington Monument from there for 10 years.
