Hmmm... my internet doesn't work when I'm on the phone!

Okay, we just got a new (very cheap) phone because our old one is dying and well... when I'm on the phone, the internet doesn't work! Why? Is there something I can do or should I just return it? We've never had that problem with our other phones! blah!

IDK...how odd! Sorry, no advice...hope someone else can help!

never heard of that. Well unless you have dialup internet LOL. Im assuming thought you have high speed either through a phone company or cable company which shouldnt be effecting the internet. Perhaps contact the company who you have internet with or the one you have phone service with and they might be able to help

I actually DID have that problem. My wireless connection and my new phone were using the same frequency. I just went and returned the phone & got a new one.

What gHz is your new phone? Our old phone always cut our internet off (years ago) so we upgraded to 5.8 to fix it.

Yep, this is exactly what happened to use when we switched to Verizon FiOs. I was sure it was the connection. It took me forever to realize it was happening whenever I was on the phone. We got rid of the old cordless we'd had forever and got a new phone and the problem went away!

Awesome, thanks ladies! We were thinking it might be the gHz. Our other phone was 5.8 and was fine... so this one must be lower, or just lame. :) Yay! I knew you'd all help me. :)
