ACK! I'm in shock!!!!!!! You serioulsy never had the opportunity to eat pudding skin!!! LOL! When you make pudding, homemade - not from a mix, and when it starts to cool it forms a wonderful skin on top! If you never had it, try it, you will love it!

LOLOLOLOLOL!

wildblueeyez 11-17-2008 12:54 AM

Oh yuck LOL.... I won't touch any pudding that has grown skin! even if it's peeled off! LOL

lizzyfizzy 11-17-2008 12:54 AM

for your sake...i wish to God i could swoop in and say a big hells yes to puddin' skin, but i'm afraid i'm with 99.97% of the population on this one. the thought of it gags me and reminds me of school hot lunch. baaaaad school hot lunch.

sorry honey. like i said. wish i did...for your sake in proving la wrong. that's always a good time.

Megan Turnidge 11-17-2008 12:55 AM

The closest to homemade pudding I've ever made is the instant pudding mix. hehe

Darcy Baldwin 11-17-2008 07:14 AM

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww

This is one of the very reasons plastic wrap was invented :) I cover homemade pudding so that it doesn't form that skin.

LibbysMommy 11-17-2008 07:30 AM

Yuck!!!

lizzyfizzy 11-17-2008 07:55 AM

ok. robin and megan. this is what's happening. i'm making homemade puddin' and i'm gonna taste the skin. and i'm gonna get back with you. the last time i had homemade pudding i think i was 9 or 10...who knows. maybe my tastebuds developed a love of things that should be thrown away. :D

~Julie~ 11-17-2008 09:13 AM

Can a palate become LESS refined as time goes by? Can it???

AnnieBananie 11-17-2008 09:18 AM

Only here will you find a 4 page thread ALLLLL about pudding skin.

And salad.

Dirty, dirty... skanky salad.

pbumbaca 11-17-2008 09:30 AM

OK, how bad is this, I didn't even know there was homemade pudding! I've only had the box kind or the little tubs you get at the grocery store! LOL!

Jennifer 11-17-2008 09:34 AM

Ummm...not so much here...sorry. :p

LeeAndra 11-17-2008 09:37 AM

Like I said in Megan's thread... dude, no.

Pudding skin is the equivalent of a human scab. The puddin' is trying to heal itself from the torturous process of being puddinfied and then you rip off the puddin' scab and hork it down and then eat the puddin' innards?!?

*shudder*

Now THAT is disgusting...skin on MILK?!! I already hate milk...I think I would puke on the spot if I ran into milk with skin on it!!! LOL

On the whole pudding skin issue...I'm actually not really that sure what my stance is on it...I guess I'm neutral on pudding skin
