Question!!
Hi there. I'm new here and I'm having some trouble lol. I am trying to upload some pages to my gallery but I can't figure out how not to exceed the size limit without my pages being teeny tiny. How do you guys do it?
Thank you!!:) |
Depending on what program you have, you may have a save for web feature (photoshop programs do at least). I save for web, resize to 600x600 and keep the kb size around 150

Ok I thought I would be able to do that, but I can't figure out how to change the kb size. Some of my pages will load just by saving for web, but some won't so I figure I need to change the kb size... how do you do that? I use PSE5.
Thank you! I love that sig too! :D lol |
Here is how I do it. I use paint shop pro 11. I resize the layout to 600x600 at 72 DPI. Then I click on save for web and when I do that I have a slider that goes from 1 on up. I slide the slider to anywhere from 10 to 20 usually and get it to around 150kb. It is usually around 12 to 15. Your program should have similar resizing options Im guessing. It is important to remember to change it from 300 DPI to 72 DPI & to change the dimensions to 600 x 600.

You should be able to do something similiar to what Jessica just posted. I use PSE5 and don't have any problems. In the save for web feature, you can change the size to get under the 150 kb size by using the little slider.
