Of getting my hair CHOPPED. About 7.5 years ago I had a little accident with hair dye and a perm and had to get my hair chopped off to fix it and I totally loved it. It was a little bit longer than a pixie cut but not too long - it was the style that you took a stick of pomade and rubbed it all over in the back and made it all spiky and cute, kwim.

Anyhow...tonight I all of a sudden have an urge to chop my hair off - real short like that. I have been attempting to get my hair into an angled bob but now it's just past my shoulders (I haven't cut it since like September I think...maybe October, lol).

Should I do it? I'm also thinking of lightening it a bit - not blonde but a lighter brown. I've done red and my natural (dark brown) color for quite a while...

Go for it Bree!! This is basically the haircut I have (my hair is much lighter in color though) and it is so easy to fix in the morning, I just love it!

I guess I'm a little more cautious... lol. I would do the one Shawna showed (or something similar) 1st... just to ease in. Then again, if you've had it that short before, you know what you're getting into. lol

I am the wrong person to give advice on a hair cut seeing my hair is almost to the middle of my butt but I had to say I think the cut you picked out is super sexy!! I also love Shawna's. I always dreamed of going short at one point or another but I would serously look like a boy LOL I dont carry short hair well!
