it's official...

....my furnace is completely dead, unfixable. we had them come out today and he said it can't be fixed. so, unless we can try somewhere else to get a loan, we'll have to save up. and we have some taxes we have to pay off too. in the meantime, everytime it gets below freezing our pipes will freeze. we tried some help and we make too much money for charitably help. so thanks for the links everyone found for me, but they are useless, lol.

we have decided to find an apartment or house to rent for now, and either save up and get the house ready to move back in or sell it. i just can't deal with it. its only the middle of january, we still have a couple months of winter. and january and february are often the coldest months. maybe someday we'll try to get another home loan possibly but right now it's not the time. atleast renting could be just temporary. as long as it isn't too much we can afford it. rentals are cheap here. things will just be really tight and i'll be job hunting again, lol.

sounds like maybe your only option. you have to stay warm.

wanna come stay with me...your rent can be helping me move. :)

i would in a heartbeat! i've always wanted to go to colorado. i hear wonderful things about it. we talked about moving there once.

rach3975 01-21-2009 09:45 AM

Oh no! That stinks. I'm glad you're going to be able to rent for a while. It's way too cold to go without heat.
