Whats your favorite place for....

Cute little girl and baby clothes?? I always seem to look in the same few places. I know Old Navy and Gap are having a decent sale but I want something realy great for pictures. I am even thinking of hitting Etsy up for a couple cute petticoats and what not but gosh they are so freakin expensive. Anywhere you go in particular?? Any great little online shops?

cheltzey 02-06-2009 10:39 AM

I stalk The Children's Place. They have amazing sales and their clothes are very high quality. I also buy Gymboree from the outlets or from Ebay.

newfiemountiewife 02-06-2009 10:48 AM

Gymboree is my fav!

Mandy 02-06-2009 10:49 AM

Not sure what size exactly you are looking for but these links have cute stuff:

Pumpkin patch has cute gilr stuff. I also really love Gymboree. The best place it to get them off ebay. or watch their sales.

danagirl82 02-06-2009 11:00 AM

I love Gymboree too! I only buy on sale though.
I totally agree that Childrens place clothes are great!!!

When Kennedy was little I just made her tutus, you can buy the instructions fairy cheap, maybe even find them free and make them for 1/4 of the cost in most cases. Nothing is cuter than a little girl in a tutu or a petticoat.

cheltzey 02-06-2009 11:05 AM

I LOVE Pumpkin Patch! It's an Aussie brand, and when we lived there, every single one of my little sister's clothes came from there. So we've got lots of PP hand-me-downs, and they are fab! I'm going to have to watch ebay for them...

my3hens 02-06-2009 11:27 AM

Oh I have never head of pumpkin patch are they availabe in the U.S?
Mandy thank you for all the awesome links babe. I love that trendytogs store! I had never seen that one before.
I also love Gymboree and I just noticed they are having quite a sale too. I am looking for Lily and Sophia LOL Lily just hit a growth spurt so shame I have to go buy her more clothes LOL. I actually don't have much for Sophia yet so I am starting to buy now. I figure I am 28 weeks time to get on the ball.

BrattyMeg 02-06-2009 12:00 PM

I <3 Gymboree...that is all

I like Crazy8 too (sister store..not quite as $$$) Great for those kiddos that grow like weeds

Jennilyn 02-06-2009 12:06 PM

I like Children's Place and Gymboree...too bad I have to go through eBay to get Gymboree clothes since they don't have one here. :(

aggiefamily 02-06-2009 12:32 PM

Crazy 8! Of course I don't shop much for girls. But look at this:

God knew what he was doing when he blessed me with 2 boys.

Leila 02-06-2009 12:50 PM

I get most of the boys close from Crazy8 now, and I'm seriously tempted to gift my friends with daughters with clothes from there too. It's so cute!

lovely1m 02-06-2009 12:53 PM

I shop at The Children's Place, Gymboree, Baby Gap and JCPenneys.

cheltzey 02-06-2009 01:26 PM

You can buy Pumpkin Patch on ebay, and I've heard that they sell it in some Nordstrom stores. I've never heard of Crazy8; they've got some pretty sweet sales going on right now. Might have to check that out more thoroughly.

pewtertm 02-06-2009 01:57 PM

I love Gymboree and TCP, but I won't pay their retail prices on clothes that DD will be playing in. I've gotten some great stuff on Ebay, plus I go to the JBF sales twice a year (at least LOL).
I love ethnic clothing...www.chinasprout.com has some adorable outfits.

lizzyfizzy 02-06-2009 02:11 PM

dimples & dandelions is a fave shop of mine boutique wise.

they're having a sale right now too!!

although even with a sale it's quite pricey.

Mama-to-Elle 02-06-2009 02:23 PM

Hey Hun,

Here is the link for Pumpkin Patch, they are in US too and they are having a big sale WOOT!!

http://www.pumpkinpatchusa.com/

I agree with everyone else on crazy 8, they have ADORABLE stuff, cheaper then gymboree, and they have the matching things, so you COULD match the girls if you wanted.. ;)

YAY, I love Girl Clothes shopping!

my3hens 02-06-2009 02:49 PM

HOlY crap where i have been with the Crazy 8 store. Freakin adorable. Amanda that second outfit is totally screaming my name. P.S you are welcome to borrow my daughter anytime LOL Shes driving me crazy with the whole diva attitude. I guess people like to inform her of how pretty she is and the other day some lady in wal mart asked her why she was so beautifula nd Lily literally flipped her hair and Said "I dont know" Lmao I was like goodness this kid is going to be a force to be reckoned with in 10 years.

Kat Stokes 02-06-2009 03:23 PM

Does anyone know how the sizes run at the Pumpkin Patch? I've noticed that Crazy8 runs a little large.

jessica31876 02-06-2009 03:58 PM

when mine were little I loved Gymboree and I also loved this place called Once Upon A Child. They sold high quality used stuff for decent prices. My kids also wore alot of OshKosh stuff.

I haven't bought PP in a while, but they did run quite big. Which is great, if you ask me.

rachaelsscraps 02-06-2009 04:57 PM

I think Carter's is the best store for children's & baby clothes. We have one about an hour away, and I'm gearing up for a trip once we find out what we're having! :)

I have bought some over last summer and I found that then run a little big and wash really well.

mlewis 02-06-2009 08:17 PM

I love Etsy for cute dresses. Janie and Jack is a fun (but pricey) place to shop. And I love Baby Gap and Gymboree as well.

WalkersMommy 02-06-2009 09:01 PM

Ooo I LOVE Pumpkin Patch. We got a store here at the mall and I can't go without stopping in! They also have maternity. It is a little pricey, but the clothes are really well made :)

LindsayLou 02-06-2009 09:30 PM

Another place to look is Naartjie. I loooooooove them and it is all that Halle wore from about 2yrs to 4yrs. They fit her perfectly when everything else was wonky. Their sizing is a bit odd at times (and can vary by line) but once you figure it out, it's great.

Voodoo_Bryn 02-06-2009 09:55 PM

Oh LORD
I <3 Naartjie!!

EveRecinella 02-07-2009 05:18 AM

I buy most of my kids clothes from H&M and NEXT, not sure if they have either of those in the States though.....

my3hens 02-07-2009 08:46 PM

Ohh Eve we have a H&M in our local mall and they are pretty reasonable. I totally forgot abotu them! I am so going tomorrow! I ran to Tj maxx tonight and found a few cute things. Now I have to figure out what size to buy this kid for what season. I hate New England weather for on ly that one reason!

amysum1 02-08-2009 07:30 AM

Hahah, so funny, we all agree! My DD is pretty much a walking advertisment for Gymboree. When they do GymBucks you can get a boatload of clothes for cheap!
