I don't watch DWTS, but I will say this about the new cast...

David Allan Grier is going to be hilarious
Lil Kim finally got out of jail, huh?
Denise Richards annoys the crap out of me
and Steve Wozniak is precious!

It might be worth watching for some of the cast members....

Oooo, Gilles Marini... YUMMY! His butt's gonna look mighty nice in those tights.

Kathy Griffin dated one of the Apple guys?

I still think it's unfair to have figure skaters/gymnasts/teenybop stars who have to practice choreographed dance in their career compete when they have an obvious advantage over the random actors and NFL stars.

Yeah, it was pretty funny. He was actually pretty taken by her, but after a while she realized she didn't feel more than "Friendship Feelings" for him. It was all documented on her reality show, My Life on the D-List, which is my guilty pleasure reality show. lol

I freaking LOVE Shawn Johnson. I am excited about this season's cast. :)

That kind of choreographed dance for the gymnasts and figure skaters is COMPLETELY different than ballroom dancing. The ones that they've had on so far haven't fared all that well, except for Apolo, and since he is a speed skater....... So I don't think they have much of an advantage, if any.

I thought Kristi Yamaguchi had won her season. I don't watch the show at all, so I must be mistaken.

No, you're right. I forgot about her. She didn't do ballroom on the ice though. :)

I want to do it BADLY. Jeff actually said he'd do it with me. I about fell off the couch. We found a place near us, just waiting for his work schedule to coordinate enough that we can do it.

I don't know, I think anytime someone that has professional training in something that requires a high level of coordination, memory, technicallity and/or performance they are at an advantage. I don't think the type of dance/choreography is as important as the general experience (most can cross over very easily). This has shown to be true by the boy banders and some of the pro athletes that have performed well.
