Vtech V.Smile Cyber Pocket

I don't know if any of you guys are in the market for one of these, but they're on sale at Toys R Us for $25, market down from $50. I bought one on Friday for Keira's birthday.

They're out of stock online, but if you have a toys r us close by, you may want to check them out.

I got the pink one, but the orange is the same price.

We picked up one for Austin yesterday, plus I had a 20% off coupon!! So for under $20 we got part of his Easter present done! Now just to find some good deals on games.

Does anyone have this for their kids? I'm just wondering how easy it is to use, I like the fact that it can be plugged into the TV. I'm hoping he won't be too old for it, since he's already 6.

We've had a V.Smile (not the V.Smile Cyber Pocket) for a couple of years - Mason is 6 now and still plays it occasionally (though he prefers his Nintendo GameCube)...but I'm sure if we bought him some new games or had it easy to set up (right now they have to unhook one game system to hook up the other), he'd play it a lot more often. It definitely helps to teach kids! :) Natalie will play it too if it's hooked up (she's almost 5 but doesn't know how to set it up herself).

Angel, look on Ebay, that's where I think I'm going to get some for Keira. She has 2 already, because we have a Vsmile, and those games can be played on both. We have the one that came with the system and the Elmo one.

I mainly got it for her because of our move from Alaska to Michigan and then we're also going to be going to Florida sometime, so it'll keep her busy on the long plane trips.

My kids have had a lot of fun with their v. pockets. Our v.smile TV system recently stoppped working so I am very bummed about that. They really enjoyed it.
