We are going to Japan!
DH put in for an assignment and we found out today that we are going to Yokota Air Base in Japan!!!!!!! We have to be there by 30 Sept!!!!:thumbup:

wow very very cool!! My brother was actually born in Japan when my dad was stationed there. Seen lots of pictures but sadly that was years before I was born.

How fun, Jami! One of the things that I do wish we'd had a chance to do was travel with the military. DH's family is all military, but he chose not to go that route, but I think I would've liked the nomad live of a military family. Have fun!

I spent 5.5 years of my young life on Yokota.. I have the most incredible memories and experiences from there!! Congrats!!

That is fantastic! I'm jealous of all the yummy sushi you will have at your disposal! I love that all you military girls can pick up and go anywhere and we never lose touch too!

How exciting!! My dad was stationed at Yokota and I went to school there! My brother actually has orders to go there this summer (he's in Germany now!) So cool!
