Uggghhh I hated long car trips when my kids were babies. What was the worst was when they would leak from something (either diaper or spit-up) and you only have babywipes with you to clean the seat, baby and car and are more then an hour from home. I dont miss those trips!! Hope your hubby does something super sweet when he gets home!!

ugh! So sorry!!! I hate days like that! After Lost you can just go pass out! ;)

So sorry, Nikki! My kiddos both hated traveling with a passion, and when Jack was 3months-12 months, we drove to a village 2 1/2 hours away EVERY WEEK. I wanted to die it was so terrible. We discovered with both of our kids that LOUD music made them stop crying.

With Jack, the first time I came home from the village by myself, I got lost and it took me SEVEN hours instead of 2 1/2, and he screamed the last 3 hours of the trip. :( So I blared Def Leppard until I couldn't hear him, and he went to sleep in like five minutes, lol. After that, we found that Simon & Garfunkle did the trick. NO IDEA why, but it didn't even have to be loud. Max likes ringtones.

Maybe next time you have to do that awful trip again, you could have your ipod handy and see what makes her happy.

when Cam was a baby..she cried all the way from Atlanta to Jacksonville, Florida...was 5 hours of pure hell...the things we do for family lol

It was rough..she did okay going down but she slept most of the way. She was crying so hard and loud that it even upset DS and he started crying. It was not fun lol.

Awww, sounds rough! I took all 3 to Florida last summer when Parker was about Ella's age. I know it's not very easy. Glad you made it through it :)
