Sweet Shoppe Convention
 

In light of all the little videos I'm seeing here, would it not be awesome to have a Sweet Shoppe convention for us all to get together and meet and talk digi?
Maybe some day we can do that. I know with the economy it'd be hard for most of us to take the extra money to travel and stuff, but from seeing the videos and glimpsing into some of your personalities I bet we'd get along awesome!

If it's Atlanta, I'm TOTALLY there (since it's only 45 minutes away)!!!!! :thumbup: I even have 2 spare bedrooms!

I'm thinking Denver would be good. :p I mean, Lynette, me, Lizzy... its a win-win situation for everyone! :D

Well I was thinking more along the lines of St. Louis since it's central. LOL
And the zoo is free. :p

Well I think our Nation's Capital (DC) would be best!! Plus our zoo is free too!! :p

St Louis is 5 hours from me, but you know, if we want to get really CENTRAL... I live in the middle of the US, people. :D

Ohhh St.Louis or Atlanta would be AWESOME for me....I'm not *that* far from either...but ohhh how I hate to travel.

I think Atlanta trumps Denver..I mean Manda, Deb, MEEEE, a few more ga girls lol plus you got Heather, Amanda, Melissa? in nearby Nashville....

I would suggest Orlando but heck even I dont wanna be here LOL. Atlanta would be not to far to drive though

I had to look that up to see what it was and figured it would be at the Convention Center and it was. I would love to go to that but I HATE going to the area the convention center is in. Traffic is a nightmare because it is in the middle of one of the busiest roads in Orlando.

All my family lives in or near Atlanta. I need to go there sometime so my Granny can see my kids. She's never seen them.

Why not make it a vacation and come to the live music capital of the world? Austin baby! Of course... if it were somewhere else, maybe I'd be forced to leave the kids with DH and get away... hmmm.........

Spent the night there several years ago. Would LOVE to go back...let me get rich and I'll pick Sharon Kay up and we'll head that direction!

I'm flexible. I could do any of the cities mentioned.

DC is a great place! Lots of stuff to do in DC...the Smithsonian, the Zoo, the White House..all those monuments to visit....plenty of hotels to host a gathering....

Everyone knows that SSD is based in Arizona :D That is where is needs to be. We should do it in the Winter so you can all escape your snow, wind & rain :)

I love the sound of st louis! I would be right there... I'm moving to Kansas City... but still about 4 hours out that's it.

Since the economy's so bad, let's plan for next summer...when I'm in America! Or if you do a convention before then, you must promise to have another one while I'm home, kay? And I woudl travel ANYwhere in America to meet you gals!

My 10 year reunion is this year, and we're moving and I've already got to go to DC to get my car.

Next year would be better for me too. LOL!

Yeah, we're going on a 2 week road trip to California this summer for my brothers wedding this summer. Nothing planned for next summer yet though & that'd give us plenty of time to save!

I vote for Minneapolis! Its central if you include Canada. Plus there's a free zoo there, too. :)
