It's truly a magical place

 I have such a long story to tell about my 25th wedding anniversary at Walt Disney World...but it's midnight and the kids will be up before I know it...but I wanted to pop in and tell you...it truly is a magical place...and I have felt like a "princess" since we arrived on Saturday.

I have taken just barely over 700 photos since we arrived Saturday afternoon...and we're here in Orlando until Monday afternoon!

I'm going to buy the boys and myself each a scrapbook...so hoping our designers can come up with another cool kit that is inspired by disney...I've bought several...but with all these photos...goodness!

TTY all later...

Signing off...

the Princess Sharon Kay...having a magical time of her life!

I remember the first time I went to Epcot, I was like a little kid, I love Disney, I can't wait to take my kids.

Well that was kinda luck by chance...we were shopping under Mickey's sorcerer hat when I noticed a lot of people rushing to the middle of the street and looking upwards. I checked my watch and it was time for the launch...saw a streak of smoke going upwards...but that was all I could see because it was really cloudy. Wish I had been ready with my telephoto lens but I forgot. lol We did hear the sonic boom. The boys thought that was cool!

The boys have gotten into pin trading...they are really enjoying it! We have sucked them into the magic of Disney...and for 2 teenagers who originally didn't want to go...they are really enjoying it!!

I have forgotten until now to have them write in their journals...so hopefully I will remember when they get up. We've been getting back to the hotel dog tired...but the boys still hurry down to the pool and play with the other kids before coming up about 11:30 or midnight. I don't know where they get their energy. Course it's 8:30am and I am the only one awake! C'mon guys...it's Disney!! :w00t:

I think there are like 8 shuttle launches left now. Not many I guess. I actually usually go outside to watch if it is not to cloudy because we are pretty close to the space station (about maybe 20 minutes from our house in good traffic) but I fell asleep yesterday around 1:00 and did not wake up until 5:00. Had some allergy issues and took some benadryl so I was just out of itall day!! Hope you have another great day. Rain is supposed to be rolling around 5:00 today which is great news for us but probably not so much for you!!

Isn't it fabulous? We went on our honeymoon, the week after Christmas and all the parks still had their Christmas decorations up..it was soo soo pretty and yes magical! :)

I totally agree...it's a very magical place. That's the same feeling I had when we took the girls for the first time (mine too) last summer.

I'm glad you're having a great time. I realize that I probably take things like this for granted, since I've gone to Disneyland...oh...too many times to count, and travel quite a bit. I forget what it's like for people seeing these things for the first time, and how magical it can be!! It truly is a magical place!!

Oh man what a rainy day! We were out in Epcot today...got to ride on Test Track and it was pretty cool! Soarin' had my tummy fluttering...goodness that is soooooooo lifelike...my "afraid of heights" started kicking in...

...then at the end we went to the Space one...where you feel the G's... my 15yo ds walked out...almost didn't walk...was swerving and said his head hurt and his tummy...had to sit out in the hall awhile...didn't tell him that it upset my tummy too. We went back to hotel after that...cold rainy...not at all the warm days like earlier in week.
