Anyone watching The Bachelorette? (spoilers)
 

I've been DVR'ing it and watching it when there's nothing else on so that's why I just watched this weeks episode lol anyway...is that guy Wes and A-hole or what??? I mean..did you hear the things he said on his way out? Gah!

I like the 3 she has left...I'm crushing on Ed though b/c he looks like my boyfriend Jeffrey Dean Morgan :)

I know!! Ugh! I was SO sick of him and his deceit. I did understand her reasoning that she needed to do it on her terms so she wasn't left with that "what if" feeling. I felt so bad for Jake last week when she didn't want to believe him about Wes. (gosh I love Jake... I'd love to see him as the next bachelor). I also was REALLY surprised by her not taking the fantasy suite with the guys. That was classy on her part. It will be interesting to see next week!

lol I want him to be the next one too....he is awesome! I will refrain frm my opinion on the whole Wes thing.....ok I won't. I was so mad that she didn't listen or see he was a jerk. I was vowing never to watch the show if she didn't do something this time....man some people!

I think I like Reid the best too..but I think she'll pick Kipton..you can tell she's got a big crush on him from the start.

I agree. I cannot stand Wes! I couldn't believe all the things he said on his way out in the limo! It should make the whole "tell all" show very interesting. I wonder what he'll say straight to her face and to the other guys. I think Jake should be the next Bachelor too!

Isn't there another round of "fantasy suites" coming? I saw from the previews it LOOKED like she was with Reid and they played it up as them having some type of problems in the bedroom LOL.
Wes is just a scumbag, he may have gotten publicity, but a LOT of bad publicity, there are going to be some BIG Wes haters out there. The reunion show should be interesting!!:thumbup:

Usually I watch it, but this season, we have been busy with Austin's baseball games and we don't have DVR. I'm hoping to at least catch the last night though.

I think when it gets down to just 2 they do go on another set of fantasy dates...this time though I was confused b/c she went on 5 hometown dates and isn't it usually 4? Oh but they still have to go to meet her parents right? Hmmm...

It seems they are doing things a little differently....its been a good season!
I can't wait to see them meet her parents, it was cool last time when the Bachelor (Jason) met her parents because they live where I am originally from (Okanagan, British Columbia).....it was neat recognizing some of the places they showed!

I didn't really like Wes from the beginning--he seemed just too slick to me...not genuine--and OMGosh, how he could look her in the face and say he wasn't lying to her all the way to the end!!!! and what girlfriend would put up with that crap.....if he did this to promote his album, he's really screwed up.....I can't imagine anyone actually buying anything from that A_hole..........sorry about that......I'm not sure who I really like the best. I think maybe Ed, but I really don't have a favorite right now. And I'm with the rest of you, I hope that cutie Jake is the next bachelor

I'm definitely watching! Yes, I too hate Wes! And, I can't imagine this will help his career at all. I think it can only hurt it! Before the show, if I'd heard him, sure, I might've bought his CD. Now, no way!!!
Jake was my number 1! Sad to see him gone! Also loved Michael!
I do love all the guys left, but Reid is my favorite! I love Kip, but I think it's more physical with them. And she didn't seem to fit in with his family as much as the others. Ed is awesome, but I'd be scared about him leaving again. Although, it did show a lot that he was willing to risk his job a second time to come back to her! But, Reid! He's just the total package! She mixed perfectly with his family! He's sweet & hot & smart & their careers just go hand-in-hand. And, they just seem so perfect together! I know he's taken it slower than the other guys, but I like that about him!
As far as the fantasy suite dates...I'm proud of Jillian! Shows so much character on her part! I always lose respect for the Bachelor/ette on the episode w/the fantasy suites. But, not this time. I gained so much respect for her!

Wes makes me sick. When he accused Jake of trying to ruin his character and integrity. Makes me want to throw up. I haven't liked him from the beginning either. I also noticed the other guys were in suits and ties and he wasn't. Some people might like that, but it just made it all worse to me. So yeah, bad publicity, this will not help his career.... at least, not as far as fans go.

I sure liked Jake too!

I don't know HOW on Earth Wes thought what he's done might help further his career. That a-hole will be singing in smokey bars for the rest of his life. The people of Chihuahua, Mexico might love him but he sucks in my book.
Let's face it, women are a huge chunk of the country music fan base and after that little "act", he's going to have a tough time making it big.

I'm a little late to this party but I thought I'd post anyway.

About Wes - I think he's an idiot for giving the producers as many sound bites as he did, even if a lot of them were badly edited. I do think he's probably a bit of a sleaze but I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as the edits made him seem. I definitely think what he said was REALLY edited so the producers could make him out to be the villain.

As far as this week's episode, I'm SO annoyed that she got rid of Reid! He was the only one I cared about at this point. Although there's rumors he may be back and with the way this season has gone, it wouldn't surprise me! :D

Really, really, really dislike Ed. Something about him just bugs me to no end. I just don't really believe that he's all that sincere. But maybe it's just his girly voice, ridiculously short shorts and oh yeah, the fact that he LEFT her. But you know, good pick Jill. :p :D

So true. Those shorts were like a train wreck. It was BAD. :blink: There's something about him...idk...then the whole fantasy suite thing was weird. Something's not there.

I think she made a HUGE mistake letting Reid go. Kipton's ok, but blah compared to Reid IMO. It will be interesting to see what happens--seems like there may be more drama at the end.

Yeah the whole fantasy suite thing was really weird. And a bit uncomfortable to watch, especially when she came out in her special outfit. :blink: I actually think that probably topped her hot tub scene from last season.

oh that scene was so wierd to watch .. it was like bad soft porn for a little bit! and i couldn't help wondering when/if the cameras left the room? and if they did - who called them back ?!? reid was always my favorite - so i'm really bummed he's gone ... i liked ed in the beginning - not sure now ?!? i think next week's the men tell all will be fun to watch though :)

Yeah, the whole FS scene was definitely inappropriate! And yes, Ed's sense of style is majorly lacking! What the heck was up w/those green shorts & blue tank? And then what he wore to the RC? Ew! lol
But, what bugs me most about Ed is that he doesn't make eye contact with Jillian when he's talking to her. I can't stand that! I want eye contact when someone's talking to me!
I hate that Reid's gone! :( But, there's definitely rumors flying that he'll be back! I sure hope so! That's what I'm rooting for! :wub:

yeah...Ed seems to be kind of a nerd...I like Reid too...but you know she could just do like Jason last season and pick one and if that doesn't work out trade him in for number 2 lol

I know I'm in the minority, but I really never got that into Reid......I guess he just wasn't my type----but I'm sure she felt like he wasn't as far ahead in the feelings department as Kip and Ed seem to be---so she went more of the sure thing. although, I still don't get how everyone is expected to fall in love so fast so he was probably the smartest one of all. Can't wait to see if Wes tells us how accurate the editing was as far as his comments--the reunion show ought to be really good unless he's a no show cause he's too embarressed to show his face

Well, i wish he had the guts to show up, but I've read that he's a no show, Marcia! But, I also read that it was mutual between him & ABC that he not come! lol

You know I really did like Ed until the last show, but seriously those shorts were such a turn off LOL! And I can't get past Reid being a Chandler Bing Look-a-like :D

What I wonder is how many CD's Wes has sold after being on... I can't imagine it's a big seller among women who have seen the show... My DH is a DJ for the number one country music station in the area and he's never heard of him... so, I guess being on the show didn't give Wes that much exposure.

Reality Steve just did an interview with Wes. You can listen to it here, just scroll down till you see the link. I will warn you that it's LONG though. I'm always a bit skeptical of Reality Steve but I think there's probably a lot of truth in the interview with Wes.

My understanding is Wes said he was only comfortable doing the Men Tell All if it was done live - which of course it's not. I think ABC is a little concerned about what he might say based on all the interviews he's been giving so I think that's why they ultimately agreed to release him from his obligation to go. It's really a lose-lose situation for Wes either way. If he goes, he can say whatever he wants but they're bound to edit it to make him look bad. And if he doesn't go people will say he's a coward and assume everything that happened was true. I wouldn't want to be in his position.

lol Ed's shorts...I kept humming the theme song to Three's Company when he had those little cuties on lol..."come and knock on our door...we've been waiting for youuuu.." all he needed was some knee-high tube socks :)

I try to avoid Reality Steve! lol The last Bachelor, w/Jason, he had everything 100% correct, even the whole dumping Melissa at the ATFR & getting Molly back. I avoid him so everything's not ruined for me again! LOL

I agree with you on that. I think she's making a lot of her decisions based on her own insecurities and I think that's probably not the best plan. I mean, half the time it seems like she's practically grilling the guys for answers and she's only satisfied when she gets the answer she's looking for - which may or may not be the truth. I feel like Reid was at least honest with her about what he was and wasn't ready for. At least based on what we saw, he seemed to me like the most genuinely into her of all the guys left. I don't know that I believe Kip would be into her if it weren't for the show and Ed seems like he's always just telling her what she wants to hear. I don't really believe his whole love act though. :D

LOL I know! I usually do too but I kept hoping he'd have info about the whole stupid "who has a girlfriend" thing!
