Omggggggggggggggg!!!
The first guys to come down the aisle literally made me choke on my honey nut cheerios I was laughing so hard! LOLOL!! Hysterical!!!

That's awesome. I love when people do fun stuff like that, but Jordan would never go for it, LOL! I'm barely going to get him on the dance floor after our first dance, LOL!

tuneskids 07-23-2009 10:03 AM

omg, that was sooo awesome!!!

Darcy Baldwin 07-23-2009 10:05 AM

At first I thought it was going to be so hokey and kinda stupid - but it turned out to be really fun!

joelsgirl 07-23-2009 10:07 AM

That made me cry. I wish I was that fun.

And then this was my second thought:

CLEARLY them folkz was not up in a BAPTIST church makin all that racket.

Possibly the cutest bridesmaid dresses ever. That was my third thought..

lizzyfizzy 07-23-2009 10:08 AM

newfiemountiewife 07-23-2009 10:11 AM

I cried too! How fun and wonderful!

ETA that I just can't believe how much everyone was smiling and having a great time! My family would have expected something like this from me LOL

Oh good! I'm glad it wasn't just my hormones, 'cause I was tearing up a little too! :)

Serendipity 07-23-2009 10:50 AM

That was SO awesome. Wow! And clearly a bride will make me tear up regardless of whether she is walking or dancing down the isle.

LOL!!!! I was thinking the exact same thing Kellie!! I do have tears in my eyes, cause this was seriously the sweetest thing ever....love it, and then I thought...yeah...this isn't a Baptist church!! Too funny!!

ColleenSwerb 07-23-2009 11:17 AM

Not a Catholic church either, LOL! No way we could get away with it at my church.

Tracyfish 07-23-2009 11:36 AM

Ok thanks Kresta - now I've spent 45 minutes watching these videos. LOL!

I tear up every time I watch one, I was the same way when Rock the Reception was on TV...but there is no way Jay would have done this at our wedding, especially since we had no alcohol at the reception.

Col - I think you should get your girls to do it :) And then of course we will want to see the video ASAP.

ditzyscrap 07-23-2009 11:57 AM

LOL, that entrance was AWESOME! I was thinking about halfway through, dang there's a lot of bridesmaids, lol...then I realized that they cycled back through...

Jennilyn 07-23-2009 12:12 PM

1. I love that song
2. I love how a group of people can be so close and "out there" to do something like that together
3. I got a little teary watching that...it was so great!

Mandy 07-23-2009 12:28 PM

That was awesome!!!!!!!
I cried a little too!

ROFL... could you imagine!? *dies* It makes me giggle even more because my father's side of the family is really traditional Catholic (Latin mass, chicks wear dresses, etc.) and I rather enjoy picturing them having heart attacks over something like that. Yeah. I'm pretty much evil.

cindys732003 07-23-2009 12:40 PM

Makes me want to renew my vows just so my wedding could be THAT fun!!

That is awesome!!

scrapperjade 07-23-2009 01:41 PM

My first thought was "I would be so embarrassed!!", followed by "Thats a HUGE wedding party!", and then "This is SO COOL!", followed by a few tears :). What a great video!!

kscwgirl 07-23-2009 02:20 PM

I totally LOVED that. And yes, I teared up. That is awesome.

Traci Reed 07-23-2009 02:27 PM

I cried!! What a way to start your marriage!

LibbysMommy 07-23-2009 02:39 PM

That was awesome!!! And yes, I cried too. lol

Made me think of when one of my oldest friends got married last year - they started their first dance with just a normal song and all of a sudden they switched the song to a faster, funkier one and had a routine that they did with it. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house it was so hysterical and unexpected!!

strawberryredhead 07-23-2009 02:54 PM

So fun!

Exactly!!

lovely1m 07-23-2009 07:43 PM

I am not usually the prude of a group, actually I think this is the first time, but I don't think its very appropriate for a church wedding. For an entrance into the reception, super cute and fun, but not the church wedding. Heck, if a non-traditional wedding, but in a church, it just seem inappropriate to me. My thoughts though were, I am surprised they got a few of these people to do it cause some of them were bad dancers. ;) That and the bride's dress was too big in the top to be dancing much in. Guess I am just a bummer all around. But the groom and the first 2 dancers when they came down the last time were quite good.

Darcy Baldwin 07-23-2009 07:52 PM

This is really making it's rounds :) The evening DJ on Air1.com (Christian rock station) is talking about having seen it today and showing to friends who are about to get married.

WalkersMommy 07-23-2009 09:40 PM

That was so awesome! :D

ccouch 07-23-2009 10:28 PM

OH, that was totally perfect!!!

But, now I've been sucked into YouTube for the last half hour looking at other wedding/ first dance videos. I still love the "Baby Got Back" first dance one :)

joelsgirl 07-23-2009 10:45 PM

That was a good one, Jamie.

I can't remember if I orignally saw this here or not, but I LOVE this one and it makes me laugh so hard, even though I've seen it a dozen times.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vqiw-Kqtlr0

And, you know why wedding videos make me cry? There is so much hope in a wedding...the start of a new life together, and after ten years of marriage, HOPE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING. So we just sit and watch other people's hope and feel a little reminiscent and slightly depressed.

Mandy 07-23-2009 10:50 PM

LOL Kellie. I have seen that before too.

Mandy 07-23-2009 11:08 PM

DH just said he would totally do this to renew our vows. LMAO!!!

MissKim 07-24-2009 08:46 AM

This couple was just on the Today show. They didn't intend for their video to become this huge sensation. In fact, the video just went up on Sunday because the bride's father was begging the groom to get it up there so he could show his friends. The bride has danced all through her life, and she came up with the idea. The officiant is a relative of the bride's.

Personally, I believe in "make a joyful noise." It was joyful and a celebration.

ColleenSwerb 07-24-2009 09:05 AM

That's so cool Kim, thanks for posting that little update! They were talking about it on the radio this morning on my way into work :P
