Our Robotics Team won Nationals!
 

I'm soooooooooooooooo proud of these kids ... months and months of hard work has paid off!!

The Metro Homeschool Robotics won the 1st Place BEST Award at the BEST Nationals Competition in Dallas on April 24, 2010!!! :w00t: This was the first ever BEST Nationals Competition!

Why yes we did! I ran over to the people heading up Vex and asked them if our team could get a pic with Grant and they arranged it!!

The kids were thrilled!!

Well besides the big trophy ... there is a prize ... but for the likes of me I cannot remember what it was called ... the value is $3,000!!! ...so as soon as I get ahold of the coordinator and get the name of it...I'll let you know. We saw the prize but it was only for the team that took 1st place ... I didn't want to get my hopes up so I didn't look into it...was afraid I would drool all over it. :p

that is really cool! I was thinking it might be like a scholarship or some sort of supplies for robotics or something like that but wow that is neat! Let us know when you find out6 what it is :)
