Anyone from SA TX?
 

We are looking at driving down later in July to go to Sea World and the River Walk. I would like to rent a vacation house rather than stay in a hotel (same price practically) but I am not familiar with the area. I am looking at one property that is in East San Antonio.

If you are from there can you PM me and I'll send you the link to the house's rental site so you can let me know it is as safe area or one to stay away from.

would love to hear about san antonio too...i'll be in texas in august and i have to go to san antonio (even though it's out of the way) to take my son to wiggly world at six flags...i'm debating if i should stay near six flags or the river walk...suggestions?

Thanks guys! Last time we were in San Antonio was 7 years ago when I was preggo with DS1 and we just spent the night and did the Riverwalk. It seems like the perfect long weekend away for us and with Sea World giving free tickets for one day for military families...can't beat that. We may even go to Six Flags too depending on how hot it is!

I'm pretty sure Six Flags is a bit cheaper than Sea World, I know their season passes are. Its hotter than Hades here this year though, bring a hat and lots of sun screen :)

We took advantage of tha a couple years ago. It was awesome. We ate lunch there and the kids meal came with the best kids meal prize ever. Its this great plastic box with Shamu on it. My son still carries it all over the place. Its the perfect size for putting a few toys in and then he can carry it.
