Not a good pregnancy week...prayers needed
 

I am officially on bedrest...I guess that means I have LOTS of scrapping time but oh, I am going to be stressing at how I can entertain VERY active 3 and 4year old boys!!! DH's boss is VERY understanding and is allowing him to work from home 3 days a week so he can help out and our parents will come and help out too...but they both live a few hours away.

I will be 31 weeks tomorrow and am dilated already. We are hoping to be able to make it to 36 weeks...so here's to baking Baby Derek another 5 weeks...praying for longer. All three of my boys were born at 36 weeks and two were in the NICU for the first week of their life...we were really hoping to avoid the NICU this time around but it's not looking like we will.

I went in on Friday for my normal weekly appt...progesterone shot and doctor visit. I told them I was having a few contractions and pressure so they hooked me up to the Non-stress Test machine and did an internal exam....they sent me immediately to the hospital for further testing, steroid shots to help with lung development and observation. I went back in yesterday for another NST and my second steroid shot.

I could use lots of prayers that Baby Derek bakes for at least 5 weeks....we would love 6 more weeks though!

Being on bedrest is going to be tough but it's all worth it!

With my 2nd little girl I was on partial (in hindsight should have been full) bedrest from 29 weeks until she was born at 35 weeks. We spent just over 2 weeks in the NICU, but she's a happy healthy little 10 week old now.

Been there done that, so I feel your pain. You've done it before so you know how it goes ;) I hope baby stays put and the other kids are able to be entertained without you moving too much. We had family visit in 2-week blocks (bedrest from 30-36 with my 2nd, 18-37 with my 1st) so I hope you can find something that will work for you and your family!

I trully hope the baby stays put for a few more weeks! Take care, will keep you both in my thoughts!

Yep! I'm there...I am a member of the Nov DDC, June and July 06 BDC and Sept 07 BDC...I've been around there for a long time!

Thanks for all the prayers and positive thoughts! I am on day two of bedrest and already going crazy! LOL But on the bright side I have gotten lots of portfolio scrapping done!
