My DH loves the comic strip over at XKCD, and sometimes they actually make sense to me too (lol)... here is one of my recent favorites:

When we did our field training last month, I was laughing cause I kept getting text messages telling me things rather than getting calls on the radio I had strapped to my head. So I was thinking along these lines.

These are too funny! Thanks for sharing since I needed a laugh today too!

I saw this on a kid's shirt at my kids' school the other and posted it as my FB status.

New research shows 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions.

Well, it seemed appropriate in a school setting anyway... :-)

Sharon Kay 09-22-2010 10:43 PM

Glad you liked them ...

I had to explain that one to my 15yo ... all he knows is that we have always (except once) built our own desktops ... so he didn't know what a Dell was. ;)

Oh ladies, *snort* thank you all for making me laugh! <3

I can't help but add a few videos of our favorite comedian Brian Regan. We love quoting his act all the time around here. He always gives us a good laugh. :p (please ignore all the commercials preceding the videos)

I like that one! a similar one is:

There are 3 kinds of people in the world: those who can do math, and those who can't.

OK a conversation with my husband when we were in the hospital:

Him: (looking at the clock) You see that long hand on the clock?
Me: Yes...why?
Him: When it goes around one time it is one minute.
Me: You're kidding right?
Him: No...I counted. It is sixty seconds each time it goes around one time.
Me: (trying REALLY HARD not to laugh at him) Ummm you think that might be why it is called a SECOND HAND?? LOL
Him: Oh yea I guess that makes sense.

Ok another conversation this time with my son when he was talking in his sleep. He will talk back sometimes when he does if you ask him questions.

My son: She is coming over here.
Me: Who is Matthew?
Him: The Magic Midget.
Me: Ummm WHO???
Him: You know her. The Magic Midget.
Me: Hmmm ok....what is she doing?
Him: She is using her water power.

I have absolutely no idea what all that meant though. When I asked him the next day he did not remember the conversation.
