Anyone else on Cloud 9?
 

OK, so you all know hubby is home from deployment now right? We have had just THE most amazing week with him. The girls are virtually superglued to him during waking hours (when they're not at kindy or school), and he has been sooooooooooo patient and loving, and playful, and....everything really. The communication between he and I is better than ever too. It's put a whole new spark in our relationship, and I seriously feel like we did on our honeymoon 10 years ago. I thought he'd be tired (he is) and want to sleep the first week, but he's jumped back into routine quick as a flash, and is like the superman of husbands and daddies. I've hardly been near the computer at all, which is saying a lot for me. LOL.

I'm gushing now, I know, but seriously, I did NOT expect his readjustment to 'normal' life to go this well. :p We're heading off to the beach this weekend, as a surprise for the kids. Totally last minute, but it'll be great to have a little cabin on the beach, no distractions.
