Nov. 18: 30 Days of Thanks
 

It's been a bit of a rough week here...but this little project has really been helping me look for the positive parts of my day (and I hope this is true for you too!!).

Only one week until Thanksgiving in the U.S.! :)

What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful that I didn't get in a wreck during the two hours of pouring rain I just spent on the road.

I am thankful I found a dietian that has clinics at my new doctors fortnightly so I don't have to travel about 2 hours to my original one. I heeded to find one closer to home so that I can have family come to support me while I am still not well.

Grateful for growth (even if it makes me queasy), grateful for hugs when it's been a long day, for trying new restaurants, for going places without getting lost, for sleeping in, for pick me ups, and for sharing taco bell with my dog.

Today I'm thankful for Handy Manny stickers and the power they have to keep little boys in line while mommy shops at Micheal's!!!! :D

today I'm thankful for my Gram, and realize how blessed I am to still have her in my life.

I'm thankful for mother-daughter shopping trips and messy ice cream faces.

I'm so incredibly thankful for my husband! I've been reflecting a lot this week... reflecting on this time last year and how sad and alone I was feeling not having him with us for the holidays. I'm so thankful that he is such an amazing daddy and a wonderful, supportive husband... and that he's my very best friend!

I am soooo thankful today - all of our clearances came back approved for Italy!!!!! That was a HUGE stumbling block and now we should (it is the military) be good to go!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Today I am thankful that my wonderful mother is making 3 dozen cupcakes while Abby is at girl scouts for school tomorrow so that I don't have to bake tonight when I get home.

I'm thankful for my sweet boy, who let me baby him some tonight. He's so grown up most of the time, but I love it when that baby side comes out! ♥

today I'm thankful for big hugs and the tons of 'mommy I miss u so much!''s when I get home from work ♥

Today I'm thankful for a little girl who grows more loving and affectionate every day, who is very proud to be mommy's helper and takes her job as a big sister very seriously, that the ugly adenovirus seems to be taking a hike (praying Lily will be spared), for warm blankets, baby baths, giggles and bubbles and for this project...it has helped me keep a rough week in perspective. This too shall pass...all too quickly!

I’m thankful for a son who sits in my lap every night and brings his favorite book to read.

Thankful for good books. Couldn't sleep at night, so I read until I could. :-)
