Blah...ice storm.
 

So yes, last week we were dealing with tornadoes and now we're under a winter storm watch..but the really bad kind...they're forecasting freezing rain and ice for us which is BAD news if you live in the South. More than likely we'll lose power..the last bad ice storm we had we lost power for 4 days. Soooo..what does my dear hubby do? Hauls it off to his parents' house to go hunting and here I am alone. :mad: So more than likely Sunday we'll be packing up and heading to my parents' house...we have gas logs so we'd have heat but we are surrounded by trees and the last thing I want is to be here alone with the kids and have a tree fall on the house in the middle of an ice storm. My parents lost all their trees when Katrina came through so there's less likely of a chance they will have one fall on them lol. Plus my dad has a generator and they have a gas stove. I'm just pretty ticked at DH right now.

Don't blame you one bit! Good luck with the weather . . . hope it turns out not to be as bad as anticipated.

I think I would be ticked too ... and why wait until Sunday? ... think I would be heading out before that storm got anywhere near me!

Well we only live 15 minutes from my parents lol...so it won't take us long to get there :)

ugh, I hate ice... good luck, hopefully it won't be as bad as predicted... and you have every right to be annoyed with hubby, I would be too!

Yeah, the DH would be on my bad list if he pulled something like that.

Praying it's not a bad storm...we went through one a few years ago and I'd be happy to never go through another one again.
