ill be absent minded... it finally happened to us :(
 

i just wanted to let u guys know, my dh lost his job today. as u know we have a 3 month old and i currently work a day or two a week. its nothing substantial.

i know many have been through this so i know im not alone. We will come out stronger. Sorry if im not my normal self in the next few weeks

My dh worked for blockbuster as a manager...........:cursing: it was inevitable

I'm so sorry! I'll be thinking positive thoughts. I was there last year, and it's just me and my DD - I know how stressful it can be.

I'm so sorry dear. I was there with an infant before, too, and just weeks before Christmas. I can tell you it all worked out, though. Just stay positive and it will be ok! It's so hard not to freak out, I know. (((hugs)))

How old is your DH? Is the military something he would consider? It's the best job stability there is out there today..good medical benefits too for you and the baby.

OH susan, stay strong..i was just there and with DH not working for almost 6 months i cant tell you how hard it was...just stay positive and things will work out...

thanks for all the amazing thoughts and prayers. I needed them. So they payed off... after 1 day putting applications in, josh has his first interview setup!!!! I love the power of prayer and hope ;)

no military can't be an option due to josh's past history with his military father. very sad story, but he has an amazing father now, his dad couldn't handle the kids when they were born... so he said he couldn't find a job and was sent on military deployment. josh didn't see his father and when he was 3 his dad came back. He asked josh for a hug and josh said no turned around and wouldn't look at him. So needless to say he will never ever be a military man.

So sorry to hear this news, Susan! Way too many of us have been there, and you WILL get through it stronger - but that doesn't make dealing with it any easier. Hopefully, it does help to know that so many of us are thinking only positive thoughts for you & keeping you in our prayers.
