Gah! Here we go again!

Snow, changing to freezing rain, winds up to 120 km/h! Dang!

Cripes! If winter is this bad already….I’m going to cry! We don’t usually get any big amount of snow until February! This is ridiculous, the power has been off twice this month already. The freezing rain/ice pellets is most concerning, if everything gets coated in ice, we’ll be in trouble again. We have a generator now, Tony is going out for a few things when the stores open, and we’ll be set. So I can probably still get online if the power goes out again with the generator, unless we lose the phones too.

This is going to make for a LONG winter at this rate! :cursing:

I really wish we would get some here. We just get the crappy fog and freezing temps. It's 28F right now... Too darn cold if you ask me unless there's pretty snow to look at.

more snow for us too...the kids love it - I hate it:)

KristinCB 12-16-2007 01:05 PM

oh yikes!! stay safe!!

AmyM 12-16-2007 02:11 PM

Would y'all puh-leeeezzz send me that snow? :)
Jamie I hope you don't get a lot of ice. We had an ice storm here in NC a few years ago and it took almost two weeks for them to get the power back on. I thought I'd go nuts. Maybe the weather's a good excuse to scrap? ;)

I will gladly take a *little* of the snow you guys are getting - especially for Christmas! That would sure be nice! Too much snow and ice though is a pain! I hope you all can stay warm and dry and have power on so you can scrap! :)

I love snow (I'd be a fool if i lived in the mountains and didn't)

But I hate the ice, ok and i'm not fond of trying to get snow off of my vehicle when I have to go somwhere but anyways..

Ice just sucks, this was my driveway last week

Thats not fun, especially clumsy when not even pregnant lady :P LOL

newfiemountiewife 12-16-2007 03:21 PM

I can deal with the snow, it's the ice that's so bad. We had power off for 4 days the week before last. It went off on Friday, and it was off yesterday for a bit. I think they're just not getting enough time in between to get everything fixed.

Kristin, that ice looks awful! I am so clumsy too, I always fall LOL

I would love to see a little snow so I can get some good winter photos. We haven't had hardly any snow in about 2 years here (in south-central KY). I just want about a foot or two though..lol. I hope everything gets better for all of you that have bad weather.

digi-gee 12-16-2007 05:06 PM

We had snow and ice this weekend too. Yesterday was supposed to be our annual cookie baking day at my cousins house. Got snowed out or I should say snowed in! I'm bummed.
