they found nothing with the scope today except lots and lots of inflamtion. they did several biopsies and we will have results saturday. i am irritated and upset bc i was hoping to know something. there is another thought on diagnosis that is being thrown around that i don't even want to say. i am supposed to see my ob asap and they are telling me that they can't see me for 2 weeks. i am supposed to call tomorrow and insist that they see me sooner. wish me luck on that. i am very down tonight.

tell the ob to put you on a cancel list. someone will cancel and you go in their place.

i tried that, they do not have a cancel list. i can call back next week and see if anyting has opened up. i am going to call them again in the morning and insist on talking to a nurse..i just don't want to be a b*tch but i may have to be :(

Oh no! Just be persistent with your OB when you call and insist on talking to a nurse. And if that doesn't work, then I would call the doctor that did your scope and ask that they help you get in to your OB. Sometimes the physician to physician thing will work. Good luck and I'm sorry you don't have an answer yet!

Ugh, as if going through the pain and medical worries wasn't enough, you have to go through the administrative trouble, too! Poor you! I'm keeping you in my thoughts and hope you'll get good news and effective solutions very soon!

Oh no I'm so sorry!!! I agree call your doc that did the scope...tell them the problem and INSIST they call your OB!!! I hope you get is SOON!!!! :hugs:

Yikes, I'm so sorry hon!! Def call the scope Dr and get them to put in a call to your OB. This is obviously a serious situation that can NOT wait 2 weeks.

i am going to call the scope dr. when they open this morning. i don't want to start any new meds until i get in to the see my ob. i want him to see when all the symptoms are present instead of taking methlaprednisone and masking stuff and then going.

hope you get in quickly and some answers!

wow, amazingly, the scope dr got me into the ob monday morning. that is MUCH better than in 2 weeks

There you go! :) What did they say about starting the meds in the mean time? Cuz I agree with you, that the OB should see you un-medicated and see all the symptoms/effects.

i forgot to ask about that, but i made it clear to the nurse that that was my concern. so i think it is ok to wait to start them till after i see the ob. the nurse at the scope dr understood my concern, so i think they are ok with me waiting to start it. hmmmm wonder if i shoudl call back. i don't want to make them mad though.

You're a patient with valid concerns. It will take .5 seconds to answer that question. Call them and ask.

I can imagine how frustrated you must feel to have to wait for answers on all this. I hope they get it figured out quickly!
