Do you know how many times I've seen Despicable ME?

too many to count.....

Its Em's favorite movie!!! she fussed and fussed, I tried to play, feed, change, snuggle... but deep down I knew what she wanted...

anyway put her in her little seat and the universal logo came up she stop immediately... then the little Minion intro came on and she laughed. At 6 months she knows EXACTLY what it is!!

Anyway thought it was funny..
:p

Definitely relate and sympathize with this! We're going through it with "Beauty and the Beast" with my 2 year old right now....I sing the songs in my sleep and all day long! :) We have Despicable Me coming from Netflix soon...maybe it'll be our next love!

its crazy she just really loves these types of movies (megamind, tangled, and wall-e)

Oh I just loved the little girl on the movie. I only saw it once since Im the only one who watched it though so I dont remember her name. I love the part at the carnival where she wants the unicorn and the guy wins it and she is all "ITS SO FLUFFY" :D Seriously adorable!

For realz!

The summer that my then almost 2 year old fell in love with Hi Cool Moocal (the 2nd one) was the summer I just about lost my mind.

at that age, the only thing that calmed C down was rachael ray's voice or commercials for prescription meds :D

My son was that way started at 6 months old with Cars.... 5 dvds of it later we have it on itunes and he still asks to watch it every day :( I'm dreading/looking forward to Cars2 this summer as it will be something different!

mariewilcox 04-13-2011 06:26 AM

Despicable Me was great! I actually it quite a lot.

With my DD it was Monsters Inc. when it came out - she just watched it the other night for the first time in a few years and she was laughing so hard and quoting the movie - I guess that will always be her classic!

With my son (now 16), it was Men in Black when he was 4 or 5. With my youngest (now 11), it was Shrek. I still can't hear that opening Dreamworks music without thinking about Shrek. Despicable Me isn't a bad one if you're going to have to watch it over and over again.

We are doing Alvin and the Chipmunks with my 6 year old. Continuously.

At 18 months, Rachel would go ga-ga for the Dr Phil theme song...it would come on and she would jump up and down, clap, and laugh.

Now, at 5-1/2, her favorites change too often to keep up.

jendavey 04-13-2011 08:57 PM

All three of my kiddos are obsessed with this movie....they quote it daily!!! "Curse you tiny toliet" LOL

JulieB146 04-13-2011 09:58 PM

My son was obsessive about The Iron Giant when he was a toddler. It was on at least once a day for months! Good thing it's a good movie or I would have gone nuts!
