the case of missing tools...
 

Geez, my hubby, who rolls his eyes every time I get a new pair of scissors or other scrappy tool for hybrid... can't keep his hands off of my stuff! I had a hybrid project due today and do you think I could find my brand new scissors? No - hubby "borrowed" them last night and I have no idea where he put them... I'm always looking for my paper trimmer, tape runner, and scoring board because he is "borrowing" them to make up flyers for his network business. :glare: I think I'm going to have to get him his own supplies for his birthday... then there is someone who is 4 feet tall in my house that is obsessed with my punches and tape runner... since that kid has learned that a foot stool makes him "taller"... nothing is safe from that kid! That kid will tape anything that isn't already attached!

:p Sounds like my house - especially since my Mum started to make cards. Nothing is safe! Infact, I am now buying 2 of the smaller stuff like scissors, gluesticks etc. and I bought her an ATG glue runner for herself so that mine will always be just where I left it - in theory :p

Jordan used my craft scissors for a few things once. Then I yelled at him and told him to use the ones in the kitchen. So far, he's listened.

But I also don't have small ones to contend with, lol.

ohhh, diet coke! that would be a fight waiting to happen around here!! :p

My husband is forever taking off with my things as well. Because they are the ones that are put back right where they belong so he knows where to find them!

I have my paper tools in tubs. My 4 year old son also has 'his' tubs. We sit and do art projects together!

My DH has used my Silhouette to cut letters out of sticker paper for his model rockets!! Made me feel so good when he asked me to help him! :)

DH used my, fabric only sewing scissors once... & broke them. He hasn't touched my 'tools' again since....the kids on the other hand, cannot keep their little fingers away from my corner of the house.

We go through this all the time, and actually just did a couple hours ago. Such a pitb!

I hear you! How many times did I not find my fine pliers, wire cutters, etc ( love making jewelry), my good pair of paper scissors, my glue, my sticky tape, etc? It got better when I gave him his own set of pliers and other tools ;)

Happy to hear I'm not alone! I still haven't found my my TWO good pairs of scissors... guess what I'm asking for on Mother's Day!

oh.. not the fabric only sewing scissors! I have my family trained to not even touch my fabric scissors!!
